The 2 featured ships are imo absolutely exsquisite! As a professional builder myself, my sincere compliments to the Builders, they've gone to the extra effort in creating not 1 but 2 amazingly detailled & incredibly sweet ships.
Sir: I am an advanced boat builder, but I still have a lot to learn, even at age 71. I was wondering if there are any plans available for the Red Tug Boat at the beginning of this video? I just received the Caldercraft Imara Twin Screw Tugboat, and I really wish to make it museum quality. Can you advise me ?
@@4Tugboats it's not my video nor am I the builder of this particular tug however, I can say that short of obtaining a basic build plan, it's only a one off build because of the talents of the Builder him/herself. I don't know your skill level, I'm 60 & been building RC replica's nearly my life, balsa, fiberglass, plastics, metal, name it & I create with it. But my particular kick, that comes thru on my channel (which I will be re-launching soon) is that I strive to stay 95% accurate to whatever real scale vehicle/vessel/aircraft I am replicating. Meaning, I make absolutely everything I can function, hatches, winch's, windlass's, lites, etc. It's my personal lane to be in & it can me months just to design a proper looking item & make it function, next problem is then is that many of my Tugs need 20+ channel radios (14-16 is average). Please contact me if I can offer any assistance I will, if not at least nothing lost yeah. You'll find my email on my channel, but I'm certain the Builder of the Tug in this video would talk with you as well though I cannot say for sure.

Since you can't scale the water they should put some gel in it to thinken it up and make it all more realistic...
Good point. They move to fast in my opinion.
Go to the settings and slow it down to 0.5 or even 0.25 percent.
It's the acceleration that spoils things - a big ship like that doesn't accelerate like a speed boat. Its either the guy controlling the boat applying too much power, or the gearing / pitch needs changing to give a more realistic speed
