Closing ceremony of 18th Exposition of Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier at Old Goa |Gomantak Times

The 18th Exposition of the Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier has come to a close in Goa, marking another significant chapter in the state's rich heritage. During the 45-day exposition, over 8 million pilgrims made their way to Old Goa.
On January 5, 2025, during the closing ceremony held in Old Goa, the sacred relics were removed from the Se Cathedral and taken in a ceremonious procession to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, where they will rest for the next 10 years until the next exposition.
