Since then, Saint Charbel had been on my mind and I felt I wanted to know more about him . It was God's will that I happened to read more about him and saw his movie that made me cry as I was watching it. I thank God Almighty for giving me the opportunity to know Saint Charbel and to pray to him for healing for my son's deficiency in hearing. I believe in the power of prayers and Saint Charbel showed us that nothing is impossible with immense faith in God and sincere prayers, what we ask for will be given in His name. Jesus is not on vacation for Charbel to take over. Jesus can save us sinners but you need to have relationship with him and trust him only instead of turning to Charbel. Open your eyes.
My father was given a picture of Saint Charbel before his operation. My father's operation was a success and he suffered absolutely no pain. Most people have pain up to 6 weeks post operation. My father had none. Everyone from the nurse to the professor was shocked. This was the miracle of St Charbel. God bless you.

My family is Lebanese. I was born in America. All of my family is religious, including priests and nuns. I grew up in America, without my Lebanese heritage being taught to me (my mother was Spanish). I met my Lebanese family after adulthood and discovered many things about it, where my family lives in Lebanon--Beirut, Baaklin and Deir Qamar in the Shuf mountains. The result of my discovery was breathtaking . Many of my family live there and I have gotten to know many of them. I was also informed that my great grandfather was a Maronite priest. In my family tree was found Charbel Makhlouf, which I found utterly surprising,. This came from my auntie who is a nun living in Spain, 93 years old (she has been a sister for 77 years). I cannot verify the information, but my aunt is certain because the information was passed down to her. She also said that her great uncle translated the work of Khalil Gibran (The Prophet) into Castilian. I am currently working on a book about my family history in Lebanon, a project I see myself finishing sometime in the near future. My dream now is to visit my ancestral home to speak to my family there and get the full story. I currently reside in Germany. I am thankful to have this story told on UA-cam, and may the love of god be with each and everyone of you.

My family is Lebanese. I was born in America. All of my family is religious, including priests and nuns. I grew up in America, without my Lebanese heritage being taught to me (my mother was Spanish). I met my Lebanese family after adulthood and discovered many things about it, where my family lives in Lebanon--Beirut, Baaklin and Deir Qamar in the Shuf mountains. The result of my discovery was breathtaking . Many of my family live there and I have gotten to know many of them. I was also informed that my great grandfather was a Maronite priest. In my family tree was found Charbel Makhlouf, which I found utterly surprising,. This came from my auntie who is a nun living in Spain, 93 years old (she has been a sister for 77 years). I cannot verify the information, but my aunt is certain because the information was passed down to her. She also said that her great uncle translated the work of Khalil Gibran (The Prophet) into Castilian. I am currently working on a book about my family history in Lebanon, a project I see myself finishing sometime in the near future. My dream now is to visit my ancestral home to speak to my family there and get the full story. I currently reside in Germany. I am thankful to have this story told on UA-cam, and may the love of god be with each and everyone of you.

I believe we are in a spiritual battle as in the movie. We must pray for conversion and bless those who persecute us, as Our Lord says. Do not fear, for Our Lord can raise people from the dead in the blink of an eye. Stand firm on the Gospels. Even though we feel as sheep led to the slaughter, we must be cautious as a snake and gentle as a dove as Our Lord says. For as sheep we have no strength on our own, God is our strength. Read in 2 Chronicles, when the Israelites were surrounded on all sides by an overpowering enemy. They held a prayer meeting that night. The prophet came to them and said, this is how you are to go to battle, with you best musicians and singers on the front lines and they are to sing, Blessed be Yahweh, for His love and mercy endures forever. Then, when they encountered the enemy, they were wiped out. The Israelites didn't fire a shot, sort of speak. "Praise" to God is stronger than combined armies. I, John, am a Roman Catholic. It hurts me so to see injustices in the world, I know how you must feel. Take those you are to pray for, not judging anyone, to the foot of the cross. And let the precious blood of Jesus cover them, and leave them with Our Lord. Remember to thank God for hearing us, for we know He always does. Remember also, to pray for me.
