I've been a fan since Anthems of Rebellion and seeing their evolution, and how Alissa just continues to come into her own after Angela brought her onboard, has been a hell of a journey.
Great song! Since "War Eternal", it's the first tim that an Arch enemy song made feel chills running down my spine! The next album will be another great release of the band.
It sounds like every other run of mill AE song. I really wish I could still love this band. But I havent enjoyed anything since Khaos Legions. For exactly that reason, theyve stagnated.
It's like a jumble of riffs from other songs. There's no apparent continuity between the sections, apart from the pre-chorus -> chorus part. They sound cool in isolation, but where's the sense of intentional songwriting?

Alissa voice is one of the most brutal in melodic death. In company with Amon Amarth, Be'lakor, Omnium Gatherum, Hypocrisy. And in concert she sounds absolutely brutal, like the predator from Alien. She's constantly improving. Rich range, screaming, growling, pig squeal, etc. Best vocalist ever.

The creativity of this band simply surpasses everything you can hear in melodic death metal, but also in metal in general, and I would dare to say in rock n roll as well. This is simple perfection - Guitar riffs, drum and bass parts, changing rhythms, from speed thrash to melodic death, from death metal to power metal, superb death metal vocals, all these parts together make this song a musical perfection. This is really an extremely high-quality song that will be listened to for decades! Arch enemy is definitely on the throne of heavy metal in general, and with its supreme creativity, it will remain in that place for a very long time.
Its not Arch Enemy´s good song. Too linear and basic and hackneyed rhythms.
