@@thetaniart Oh, yeah Rocket Raccoon too. Thor is a bit... I remember someone on Reddit putting it so eloquently that while he was indeed given a shitty hand, knowing that he's been alive, what thousands of years(?), the whole Infinity saga was like a bad weekend or month for him and he still experienced a happy life in general. As opposed to Bucky, Wanda, and yes, Rocket Raccoon. One had his capability to decide on his own taken from him, while the other two just had a shitty life through and through, maybe Wanda more than Rocket.
Just thinking about this ONE character arc out of so many, marvel will never be this good again. I salute you Sargeant Barnes, thanks for the amazing storyline while it lasted

He was a fine soldier who never gives up and always did his job well, but he was and will still be a good friend. 🦾
Absolutely my favorite character to ever exist. People never understand just how damaged this man is but he's coming back from it. He's working so hard to be the person that was taken from him. He's always gonna be so meaningful to me as someone with PTSD and nighterrors and a few other reasons.
One of my faves from the very beginning, and such a talented man to play him. The darkness they saw in Sebastian Stan to cast him in the first place is...relatable lol

Bucky Barnes is one of the most tragic characters in Marvel, but his growth throughout the films and series has been awe inspiring and captivating. I just wish that he got set up with Natasha Romanoff since they're lovers in the comics and in the MCU, they're the only characters without love interests.

God this just makes me so mad that Bucky didn’t take over as Captain America.
1)He’s Steve’s best friend
2)He’s already a super soldier and it was implied (before FatWS) that you needed to be a super soldier (or have super aim like Hawkeye) in order to use it effectively
3)There was a ton of foreshadowing that Bucky would take over as Captain America with all the times he’s used the shield. Like at 1:37 in this video, or when he caught it and threw it back at Steve in winter soldier, or when he and Steve were both using it in tandem in Civil War against Tony. Meanwhile Falcon never even once used it before.
4)Thematically it makes more sense for Bucky to take the mantle of Cap instead of Sam because Bucky’s arc was revolving around him moving away from the Winter Soldier persona. If he became Cap it’s a sort of redemption for him and showing he’s come full circle. It would have also been nice to get a scene in Endgame of Tony forgiving Bucky for what happened to his parents since it wasn’t really his fault. And having Tony’s forgiveness and Steve’s blessing would make him really try to do right by everyone and become Captain America.

Captain America and Winter Soldier are two movies I cherish - something about having a bit of morality and dealing with tragedy and coming out stronger. Movies today seem to lack the role model. This pairing is a favorite of all time for me.
