How You Can Have Eternal Life ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust,etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice, when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you,save you from hell and give you eternal life ! It is hard for me to fathom that eternity is forever when we live on the earth where everything is temporary. My mother ,who passed, used to say, "What is 100 years compared to eternity?" Lord Jesus, help me to set my face like flint on you and my eternal home. That is what is most important.

Thank you Rabbi! What an important reminder for God's children to live in the eternal perspective of our lives rather than getting stuck in the temporary things happening in our lives today. It's a great encouragement to let go of the hurts and disappointments of today...they are temporary and passing - instead, to hold on to what God has established as eternal.

You are one of the few ministers of the gospel I'm always on the "same page" ... not meaning we're the only ones right, but meaning we seem to share a kindred spirit in the ministering of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Great lesson this morning, rabbi. My name is Joan and I am an ordained minister with the Church of God. However, I was raised in a Jewish home, and an Orthodox Synagogue. I love the Jewish people and want to connect with them in the best way that I can. Not to convert them, but to tell them the truth of the Gospel. We would like to encourage you to use your testimony to witness to your Jewish friends. Show them Isaiah 53 in their own Hebrew Bible (Tanakh). Don’t let the enemy get you sidetracked to focus on the obstacles. Jesus is the beginning and ending of everything. He is the fulfillment of the Torah and Prophets, their substance is in Him. Romans 11:11 says that “salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them (the Jews) jealous.” In Romans 11:13-14 Paul says, “I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them.” Once we are given the good news, are we to hide our light? No, we want to share it with others. Verses 25-26 say, “For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery-so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, 'THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION'; this is the return of Jesus."

@@RabbiSchneider I’m very familiar with the episodes you’ve referred to. I don’t believe Jesus completes the seder on the night before he died based on Matt 26. Did Jesus drink the 4 th cup on the cross? I’m thinking he will drink the 4 th cup with us in heaven. I’m asking for response beyond the team… WHAT IS RABBI’s opinion here please? Scott Hahn has published on this and I personally don’t agree. Thanks so much!
