Well, there are two performers, they can't both be Kenneth MacMillan. :) Besides If you click on the SHOW MORE it lists MacMillan as the Choreographer. And I don't mean to be patronizing, but Kenneth MacMillan was pretty much one of THE choreographers of the 70's and 80's. I hope you take the opportunity to make yourself more familiar with his works on youtube. I am sure you will enjoy them.
Well, did yo think that maybe I watch Russian ballet and French with which I am very familiar but not British? So no need to be.... patronizing. We all start somewhere and I am sure I know more about the Russian ballet but try to answer questions about it I get in my ballet group without trying to be superior. You can always be kind and answer and not assume everybody is an expert at world ballet. It takes years to learn it's history, all the choreographers and performers as well as ballet librettos.
I didn't assume that you were an expert. My assumption was that you didn't click SHOW MORE. :) Additionally, one month ago, you asked who the choreographer of the piece was. Out of all of the posters who have viewed this, the only person who answered you was me. And rather than thank me, you gave a defensive answer. Kindness begets kindness. As I said before, I truly hope that you enjoy the youtube clips of MacMillan's work (as well as those of Ashton, Tudor, De Mille, Robbins, etc) and the performances of some of the great British and American dancers of the past and present.
Thanks for sharing it. Which documentary film is it from?
David Wall, I think, and isn't the point of Orpheus that the doesn't look at Eurydice?
I wonder whose choreography it is. If it's Neumayer, reminds a lot of a part inf his Midsummer Night's Dream danced by Zakharova and Tsiskaridze
Ummm. It's Kenneth MacMillan.
Well, the way it's pt it suggest performer, not choreographer..
