You will also earn the punya of involving many novices to classical music since such efforts are inclusive unlike classical concerts which tend to unobstrusively differentiate listeners based on their basic understanding and appreciation of nuances of classical music.
I saw the video, in fact waiting for it ever since the news of such epoch making steps to hold the culture of the Country. At 81-82 my heart is all out to stand by the pledge on my behalf and that of my family and generation to come. It is gratifying to note the orderliness of the events ,in absolute harmony with the spirit of the Carnatic music, the poem of worldly life. Congratulations to all!
A good initiative thinking current day situations. Also as a note, to preserve one’s culture starts from preserving mother-tongue. It will be much more apt to see musicians like Ranjani-Gayathri to talk in Tamil in relevant forums.
Can you broaden the base by including musicians and connoisseurs from other parts of country like Andhrs karnataka kerala maharashtra where music is Considered Nada brahma
Dear sir, please institute and award , like "Bhakti Sangeeta sevaa nidhi" or " Bhakti Sangeeta tilakam", think over, a strong alternate to MA, request Rasika donation, I am ready. Lot of dedicated artists who served in 1000's of concerts left without published recognition (may be like M.A.Govindaswamy of Bangalore and Ex). Needs manthan , wish all weather rivers like continueity for our beloved BHAKTI SANGEETAM
