Also, can the Holy Spirit still speak through heretical Bible translations? 2. 26:36 {Should Christians Leave Ungodly Areas?} Does the Bible say Christians should relocate their family (especially with young kids), or stop having kids altogether if evil/injustice continues to grow in their community? 3. 34:35 {Should We Only Help Others, Never Ourselves?} Is it a sin to help myself instead of others? However, I'm part of a church with a female lead pastor. How do I handle this? 6. 47:25 {Paul’s Hands vs. Jesus’ Hands} “These hands” provided for Paul in Acts 20: 34 NKJV & ESV. But “…of mine” (i.e., “these hands of mine”) is in some translations such as NIV & NET. Is Paul referring to Jesus’ hands or his OWN hands? 7. 54:55 {Are Angels Purely Spiritual, Not Physical?} How can we know that angels are spiritual beings and not potentially physical beings? Some people say they're spiritual and do not have reproductive organs (since Jesus said they're not given in marriage). 8. 58:12 {When Parents are Difficult} How does one biblically deal with an oppressive (but not abusive) parent? Lately they have been really stressed, anxious, and far from God. I’m not sure if they are truly a Christian. 9. 1:00:53 {Navigating a Difficult Marital Situation} Am I dishonoring God if I initiate separation? I’ve been married for over 12 years, always rocky. I've begged for counseling, but my husband (professing believer) said he'd pick divorce first. He says he no longer loves me. 10. 1:05:20 {Was Josiah Being Prideful?} In 2 Chronicles 35: 20-27, should Josiah have realized that it was God speaking (some suggest he was prideful)?
So Mike, would you say that if you know you don’t wanna have kids you shouldn’t get married? I think that’s what I heard. And if that’s true does the Bible teach us not to have sexual relations outside of marriage? So if that’s also true then is it biblical for People who do not want to have children to remain celibate?

Thanks for continuing to provide carefully researched, biblically sound content. I’ve aggravated some egalitarian twitter friends by defending your work on women in ministry, but I wouldn’t be taking that sort of heat if I didn’t think your research was trustworthy.
Although I have other "pastors", Mike has become "my pastor" over the last couple of years. This is the only place I feel I am getting the best answers without agenda. Thanks Mike. I wish you had more time for individuals, but that is not going to be possible in this world. Maybe in the next.
I asked the question at 34:35 (I'm SO happy it made it in the stream) and just wanted to let you know that your answer was great(!). It wasn't too complicated at all and it really adressed what I wanted to know. And gave me something to think about as well. I hope it will help others too. Thank you and the team and the Lord :D! Love your ministry, Mike! And you also got my username right ^^.
Psalm 101:3 "I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me." (If you keep looking, it will cling to you, and you will fall away. Perhaps it's lust, porn, evil video games, horror movies, gluttony...or any other temptation or sin.) (This verse came to mind during this Q & A.)
Great to hear Mike is working on a book. His videos are a great blessing. It would’ve fantastic to have a whole lot of his responses turned into a handy-dandy Q & A book with essential topics set out alphabetically.
I agree with you, Christina. I would go even further. Don't listen to anything that is even from any Protestant or Anglican speaker because they have zero Authority since they contradict the scripture's.
Mike, thank you, Your Ministry helps me strenghthen my relationship with Jesus and understand the bible. I've been reading it more. From what I understand so far, I am to love the lord God almighty with all of my heart and soul and mind and strength. And to love my neighbor as myself. And to look to christ throughout my days As a means of trust in him, And encouragement. To know that I have eternal life resting in his promises. That I am saved by grace, not by works. And any expressions of works that I do have uphold the truthfulness of the faith that I hold for our lord in saviour Jesus Christ, one with the father co equal in glory.
You have to love the wayback machine. Took about 5 minutes to find the guys name. The things people will do to justify sin. Can you imagine standing before the Lord after writing a book like this? I pray their hearts are softened and they come to know the Lord.
I was going to attend my first live ever and ask a question a lot like #2, but I missed it. Then I come back and I see this. Thank you to God, thank you for the question and answer
I’m the guy with question #6. Thanks for taking my question Mike! Just some added context I couldn’t fit in under the limit: The way I FIRST read Acts 20:34 in my NKJV in context with the previous verses is that Paul was giving credit to Jesus’ hands [since I interpret “the word of His grace” in 20: 32 to be Jesus]. But yeah, I’m now pretty sold on Paul referring to his own hands. 👐
Keep the faith people! And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12
...just another attempt to take the Glory from His word.... thankfully, we have intellectuals with a heart for Jesus to take the time and apply the truth.... thanks Mike.......
Really like the new 10 questions weekly format. Thanks so much Mike for all you do. And for the discussion of the QJB - especially your commentary about how other bible translators work (or should work!) Have a great weekend :)
The QJB isn't meant to be referenced to, that's why it's formatted in a way that is impossible to learn where verses and texts are, or to find things when you need them... This book is made to be showed on your table or shelf so that others can see what you believe.
congrats on starting to write a book!!! i’ve been watching the 20 questions episodes but i’m a few years behind, so this is the first i’ve heard of it. will definitely be preordering/ purchasing!!
The Lord wouldn’t want His children to attend either church-LDS or the one with a female lead pastor. They’re both going against His will. I would recommend leaving asap. If you have a vehicle drive further, leave town. If that is not an option you can also deepen your relationship with the Lord and worship at home/online. The Lord would prefer that over the first two options.
@PROJECT.LUKE.ONE.75 hello brother/sister. I would be very careful about saying straight out that "the Lord would prefer" such and such stating it as a fact and speaking for God. It would be better to say "probably" or "in my opinion" or something of the like and then giving a reason. It is just a very strong statement to make and to come off as if it is a fact and you are speaking on God's behalf. Because there are a lot of factors in people's lives and circumstances and not every circumstance is the same. And so every person's circumstance will make the best decision for them different. It is not something to divide over or call people non Christians because they do so (you didn't do that, I am just speaking in general). Just wanted to say that in case you didn't realize. God bless
@@colinmattsthe definition of fear when we say “fear God” is different than the usual definition of fear. It doesn’t mean actual fear; it means awe, reverence and respect.
I understand the concern about children in our current times with the way our world is heading. However, when we look at the grand scheme of it all.... we still live in a privileged time with many modern comforts. I don't see why now out of all times in history would be the time to say no, no kids. This world needs new, better generations raised under the Lord.
Ok, so a question for Mike... Life on the line, you had to choose only ONE bible for the rest of your life and your choices are: 1) The Queen James Bible; or 2) The Passion Translation Go.
The QJB only messes with and edits passages concerning one issue, the Passion Translation adds wild things to several passages of any kind, making its edits much less predictable and recognizable. So my choice would be the QJB.
I'm reminded of Mike Warnke who was popular during the Satanic panic of the 80's. Claimed he had been a Warlock and super evil and then got saved. Lots of people got saved listening to him and reading his book and it came out later that he had lied about almost all of it. He was lying but God still used him. God can use whatever and whomever He wants. I think it also depends on the heart of the listener or in the case of the QJV the reader. If they are truly seeking, God can use it.
Good job mike as usual. Starting my own channel. As we need to talk about Jesus more look how the world is. Only 1 video so far but i appreciate the support.
Thank you so much, Mike. Love your work! 😊 One point: I don't understand why people would want to change God's Word to match their own desires. To say that you are a Christian while at the same time rejecting any part of what Jesus Christ taught is fallacious. How can you trust a person like that about anything?
Regarding leaving any church for Biblical reasons, it really is best to make it clear to those who stay why you are leaving, because otherwise rumors are likely to spread as to why you disappeared.
I am trying to find balance between taking care of myself or serving others. My battery is drained for sure because demands to be there for others were so high for so long. Definitely spending time focusing on my self but allotting a limited time to volunteer and serve really has helped charge my battery. I guess you know it is the right amount… energized by serving rather than drained by it.
To question 3.. you have to look afteryourself and others... im a mother, I obviously love, care for and feed my children but I have to do those things for myself. Personally I feed my children before I feed myself. I love my children more than I love myself. I give to my children more than I give myself. But I'm not totally negligent to myself.
I’m loving the every Friday 10 Qs. Less time commitment (but I listened to all women in ministry so I guess that’s not an issue 😂) and I just like getting it more often! Fun!
Makes sense this was printed in Las Vegas. Amazon has a cheap quality book printing farm in Las Vegas. I’ve ordered physical copies of digital books or other obscure books on Amazon, and got copies with this exact same terrible small font, poor formatting, and cheap binding-with a note in the back that it was “printed” in Las Vegas dated literally the same day or day after I placed my order. 😂
When I saw the cover and you opened it, I seriously thought to myself, "That looks like it was made in someone's basement with a copy machine". The CHEAP that went into the QJV is comical. But I am glad that it is cheap, so people will know to stay away.
During the question about multiple creators you did a better job of describing the concept of Occam's Razor than anyone I've ever heard. Well done sir.
The editing, typeface and spelling is so poor it’s like they aren’t serious Bible scholars and have just put the book out to support their pre-determined position.
As for angels not looking human I disagree with you, did you forget: Hebrews 13:1-2 13 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Thank you, that was the scripture verse that popped up for me as well. Thank you for your work in ministry, Mike. God's blessings to you and looking forward to reading your upcoming book. -Gabriel of Norway.
This kind of heresy is a new kind if abomination of desolation, but this time, tragically coming from within many corrupted "churches". Praying for their repentance to forgiveness and new life in the true Jesus Christ of Holy Scripture. 🙏😔✝️🙏😓✝️🙏
Question number two. Enter not into the path of the wicked and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, past not buy it. Turn from it and pass away, for they sleep not, except they have done mischief. And they're sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall. Proverbs chapter four Versus fourteen through sixteen.
Matthew chapter 5 verses 15 and 16: [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. I think the idea of running from the evil, or abandoning it all together (in the act of forgoing children due to said evil) is actually counter to what we are called to do in being a light.
It's the name-calling technique used by people who don't want to discuss issues because their side has no weight. The only way they win is to shut down the debate before it starts.
@@colinmatts You are calling me a made up nonsensical word that you are sure has a legitimate meaning while at the same time doubting that there is a God. The irony. Like I said, the word has no meaning. No one is irrationally afraid of sodomites. NO ONE. We do believe that they are deviant and are on their way to Hell unless they repent though. You can't practice sin as a lifestyle and get away with it. This goes for any sin. Lying, stealing, adultery, drunkenness, fornication and h0m0sexual behavior. You see, when you have no legitimate argument to justify your sinful behavior you employ ad hominem attacks. You call people "bigots" or made up words like "h0m0phobe". Or you employ emotional appeals that are not based in science, reality or theology. Things like, "I was born this way", "why do you care what goes on in our bedroom" or "love is love".
Why is it that the world always makes parody of anything Jesus Christ or God related. You will never see them do a book on the Quran. Unless they repent, God will have the final judgment. I know it's just a book, but I would feel frightened to have that book in my house. Smh!
Have they not read in the last chapter of the Bible, in Revelation 18-19 what will happen if any man adds to or takes away from the words of this book? Woe unto the man
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
I would like his thoughts also. My Wife, who loves watching Mike and goes by scroogeswife on here, and I have many Bibles of different Word for Word translations and have been using the LSB as our main Bible for awhile now and love it.
Pastor Mike. Im sorry you had to look at The Queen James. I had never heard of it. What will be next? Stranger time. Im shaking my head in disbelief everyday.
It is a false "bible" no doubt but, ironically, it is more sound than the Passion translation as, apart from those 8 passages, it is the NKJV (as Mike pointed out, I have not read either all the way through personally) whereas the passion "translator" made sure to change almost every passage.
There is nothing about that book is Godly, Proverbs 30:5-6 says “”“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.“
There's a great quote in reference to the second question, which I believe could be considered Biblically sound. It's along they way of "Don't be afraid to raise dragon slayers in an age of dragons."
The Queen James Bible belongs in the flames YOU DO NOT MOCK GOD especially the Word of God and get away with it Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. His Word is ABOVE HIS NAME Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. There are NO EXCUSES at the Great White Throne Judgment they will be accountable to God for adding to His Word.

Although I have other "pastors", Mike has become "my pastor" over the last couple of years. This is the only place I feel I am getting the best answers without agenda. Thanks Mike. I wish you had more time for individuals, but that is not going to be possible in this world. Maybe in the next.
I asked the question at 34:35 (I'm SO happy it made it in the stream)
and just wanted to let you know that your answer was great(!).
It wasn't too complicated at all and it really adressed what I wanted to know.
And gave me something to think about as well.
I hope it will help others too.

Great to hear Mike is working on a book. His videos are a great blessing. It would’ve fantastic to have a whole lot of his responses turned into a handy-dandy Q & A book with essential topics set out alphabetically.
What part of the video did he mention a book, please? 😊

Wise man, and his scripture understanding seems accurate or sound.
Yes I love his commentaries on blue letter bible!!!
His commentary is also an app called “Enduring Word”
Even if I was on the very liberal end of the theology, having a whole Bible version dedicated to one secondary issue is bizarre to me.
I mean they make their entire lives about it so it sort of makes sense.

I was going to attend my first live ever and ask a question a lot like #2, but I missed it. Then I come back and I see this. Thank you to God, thank you for the question and answer
I’m the guy with question #6. Thanks for taking my question Mike! Just some added context I couldn’t fit in under the limit:
The way I FIRST read Acts 20:34 in my NKJV in context with the previous verses is that Paul was giving credit to Jesus’ hands [since I interpret “the word of His grace” in 20: 32 to be Jesus].
But yeah, I’m now pretty sold on Paul referring to his own hands. 👐
Keep the faith people!
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Great job Mike. How very sad such measures of being taken and souls are being lost.
So it's virtue signaling: the translation.
God, please help us to follow you, Jesus Christ, walking with you daily ❤
congrats on starting to write a book!!! i’ve been watching the 20 questions episodes but i’m a few years behind, so this is the first i’ve heard of it. will definitely be preordering/ purchasing!!
Im genuinely crying watching this.
Love the answer to question 5, we must fear God more than man and we answer to Him and His word.
God bless
Why must we fear God?
@@colinmattsthe definition of fear when we say “fear God” is different than the usual definition of fear. It doesn’t mean actual fear; it means awe, reverence and respect.

I understand the concern about children in our current times with the way our world is heading. However, when we look at the grand scheme of it all.... we still live in a privileged time with many modern comforts. I don't see why now out of all times in history would be the time to say no, no kids. This world needs new, better generations raised under the Lord.

Having itchy ears not hearing the truth. Well the lost will do that . Let God be the Judge and we have to distance ourselves from this evil.
Ok, so a question for Mike...
Life on the line, you had to choose only ONE bible for the rest of your life and your choices are:
1) The Queen James Bible; or
2) The Passion Translation
Go.
I don't see any Bibles on this list. 🧐🤔😉
I’d take the Captain Kirk option and change the rules.
The QJB only messes with and edits passages concerning one issue, the Passion Translation adds wild things to several passages of any kind, making its edits much less predictable and recognizable. So my choice would be the QJB.
Passion translation 😊
It doesn't matter what people write, truth is truth..when God say it ,it is so....
How do you know what God ever said? Or, that it was the truth?
Great points on how God can use anything, even if it is distorted, yet that does not make what is distorted good or acceptable.
What is "distorted" about homosexuality?
@@colinmattsIt's the QJV that's distorted. Homosexuality is just sin and outright wrong.
Who knows? The kids you bring into this world, with your good guidance & directlon could change the world!
Thank you so much, Mike. Love your work! 😊
One point: I don't understand why people would want to change God's Word to match their own desires.
To say that you are a Christian while at the same time rejecting any part of what Jesus Christ taught is fallacious. How can you trust a person like that about anything?
I think it’s to mock His word😢 God help them. Hard hearts & desire to lead ppl astray however possible is my guess.
Thanks for telling the truth Mike
More people should be honest with their self and tell the truth
Thanks for the video Mike! I better get back to work.
I very much appreciate this channel. Informative. Thank you.!!
Regarding leaving any church for Biblical reasons, it really is best to make it clear to those who stay why you are leaving, because otherwise rumors are likely to spread as to why you disappeared.
Church is family so that does make sense. Not to slam, but to lay out reasons biblically.
I agree as well.
At this point, where is the rick james bible?
😆😆😆. Exactly

To question 3.. you have to look afteryourself and others... im a mother, I obviously love, care for and feed my children but I have to do those things for myself. Personally I feed my children before I feed myself. I love my children more than I love myself. I give to my children more than I give myself. But I'm not totally negligent to myself.
On question 3. If you neglect your work in order to help the homeless, you will soon be homeless.
My parents worried about whether they should have kids back in the 1960s! I think it's a good thing that generation decided to go ahead with it.
It should be called the Queen James book
The Queen James Blasphemy
The Queen James Abomination
I’m loving the every Friday 10 Qs. Less time commitment (but I listened to all women in ministry so I guess that’s not an issue 😂) and I just like getting it more often! Fun!
Makes sense this was printed in Las Vegas. Amazon has a cheap quality book printing farm in Las Vegas. I’ve ordered physical copies of digital books or other obscure books on Amazon, and got copies with this exact same terrible small font, poor formatting, and cheap binding-with a note in the back that it was “printed” in Las Vegas dated literally the same day or day after I placed my order. 😂
Yep. That’s exactly what it says in my copy here.
@@MikeWinger 😂 Nice
@@MikeWingerSo can I call the Queen James bible, the "Sin City Edition"?
When I saw the cover and you opened it, I seriously thought to myself, "That looks like it was made in someone's basement with a copy machine". The CHEAP that went into the QJV is comical. But I am glad that it is cheap, so people will know to stay away.
Utter BLASPHEMY!!!!!! Lord help them all! 😳🤢💔🙏 Why would ppl even purchase it??? It puts money their pocket!!!

Blasphemy against what? The immoral bigotry of the bible?
During the question about multiple creators you did a better job of describing the concept of Occam's Razor than anyone I've ever heard. Well done sir.
The editing, typeface and spelling is so poor it’s like they aren’t serious Bible scholars and have just put the book out to support their pre-determined position.
Almost like they knew no one would crack it open!
I KNEW IT WAS A BAD TRANSLATION . . . I just never realised it was THAT bad. Thanks Mike.
As for angels not looking human I disagree with you, did you forget:
Hebrews 13:1-2
13 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
The angels who met with Abraham and Sarah were most certainly in human form.
The Biblical definition of angel also includes pastor and messenger.
Thank you, that was the scripture verse that popped up for me as well.

YASS GO OFF QUEEN 💅💅
Matthew chapter 5 verses 15 and 16:
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
I think the idea of running from the evil, or abandoning it all together (in the act of forgoing children due to said evil) is actually counter to what we are called to do in being a light.
There's NO such thing as "h0m0ph0bic". It's a term made up by sodomites to discredit Christians that disagree with them.
How about BIBLE-O-PHOBIC? Does this ever get a mention these days? 🙄 .
It's the name-calling technique used by people who don't want to discuss issues because their side has no weight. The only way they win is to shut down the debate before it starts.
Of course there's such a thing as "homophobic". You appear to be one. Now, whether there's such a thing as God or not is a whole other matter
God will not be mocked. God have mercy on these people.
They lost me at “edited”.
fr, you dont edit the word of God.
Just wanted to say, I was looking for a Bible I had as a kid and Google searched "children's Bible" and that was one of the top results.
Woe unto the man
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

The Queen James Almost Bible!
Missed it by only 8 verses
Pastor Mike. Im sorry you had to look at The Queen James. I had never heard of it. What will be next? Stranger time. Im shaking my head in disbelief everyday.
It is a false "bible" no doubt but, ironically, it is more sound than the Passion translation as, apart from those 8 passages, it is the NKJV (as Mike pointed out, I have not read either all the way through personally) whereas the passion "translator" made sure to change almost every passage.
Thank you for praying
There is nothing about that book is Godly, Proverbs 30:5-6 says “”“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.“
