The Banshee 3E wouldn't be a lemon if there was melee in the game.. It defies logic putting a fast brawling assault in the game if you can't use it to its full capacity.
One thing to consider probably: Unlike in MWO, campaign missions have vehicles to engage, so pure anti-mech builds could be overkill and medium energy weapons or low-grade missiles etc can be more useful to kill lightly armored vehicles.
i played many mech warrior games exept for mechwarrior online, and there are some changes on the mech lab that make no sense, for example in mech warrior 4 a large energy weapon like a ppc takes 3 slots, so that means that you can take it out and have space for a medium energy weapon plus a 1 small energy weapon or 3 small energy weapons. A large is 3 slots, medium is 2 slots and small is one slot. But in this game if you remove a large energy weapon like a PPC and place a small laser in its place you have no more space to add more in that same slot. That severily limits the number of configurations you can create on your own
I agree, the Annihilator is a very good mech, unfortunately as slow as continental drift (and just as unstoppable) Currently I ride a Stalker 3H (ROCKETS!!!!111), occasionally also the Nightstar.
Damn no Thug Assault Mech. I know its not a popular or powerful mech from the universe but when I started getting deeper into MW2 Mercs back when i was 10 it was my first Assault mech so it has a special place in my heart. (that and since PPC's had no max range in that game I discovered how much I loved PPCs :D )

Hey TTB, can you cover these topics on your next videos? - Missile weapons, Narc, Tag and differencies beetween normal launchers and artemis. - Hotkeys, basically I want to know what a mech can do in this game compared to MWO. Are there controls for device like ECM and MASC? (I hope PGI have include them as lost tech but it's difficult if there are no control keys..) hotkeys for missile bays for mech like the Archer, heat and night vision, toggle AMS, discard ammo, UAV, Flush coolant, and so on..
I'm going to keep my eye out for a Night Star, I like the dual gauss but I hate having them in the torso they explode when destroyed, good way to kill your pilot

Well, it's 3015. The Clans didn't invade until 3053, so... Forbarring a time skip or just a blatant violation of the canon, there shouldn't EVER be a Mad Cat in MWO5.
DId I see correct that there are zero assault mechs with 3 Large Ballistic weapons? I want to build a Triple Gauss Assault Mech. Please if anybody knows tell me.

Played the old mech warriors but have been out of touch with the franchise, love the videos! What's the difference between the LB auto cannons and the normal ones? Would LOVE a weapons breakdown video for us noobs out here. Keep up the great work!
@@TTBprime I saw the one where you demo'd everything, but it doesnt go into any stats or specs. youve fire the pulse lasers but theres nothing about how their different from normal lasers, etc. Is there a more technical video on the weapons too?

Annihilator love this Maschine, King Crab is a great Mech to bring the hell over the enemies. Mauler is on third place for me.

I love the STK-3F. 2 ER-PPCs, 2 lrm10 st and 4 medium lasers. Geart fire support mech for the AI as well. Just park it somewhere on high ground.

That's correct, though there are mods that will allow you to ignore hardpoint sizing.

Not sure if there will be an expansion for Clan invasion. This one takes place about 40 years before the clan invasion starts.

Its basically a shotgun version of a autocannon.
@@gianturtlecow1455 pulse lasers have lower range but higher damage over a shorter duration than normal lasers.
