Apart from the host and its content especially the childhood nostalgic memories, one must appreciate the quality of the photography which brought out the vlog so vividly
Wow, this is so so amazing!! Carrying that मोड़ा around in your hand is so relatable in the monsoons - I guess that's the best part about living in the hills. As Ruskin Bond puts it, "It is always the same with mountains. Once you have lived with them for any length of time, you belong to them. There is no escape." Every time I watch the videos at the UnTravel Show, there's so much nostalgia that kicks in.
I loved that line of Jamie's sir... going down the hill 3 km in rain mohara ki cassette Lene fir PTA lgta hai Negi ji le Gaye hai.. That slow paced life I miss that a lot. I wish time travel true ho or me Jate Jate fir se vo moments jee paun.. Great work guys..
Landour has been an amazing place, not only due to its mesmerizing nature's bliss all around but also by wonderful celebrities inhabited in and around like Jamie Alter and others. He is simply awesome..His caring hospitality beset with his vast ovure of multiple skills like a writer, a you tube blogger etc. His narrative while reminiscing how recording of songs on cassettes was done as well as his description of other country side games in his childhood are too good and interesting....You have rightly said that a trip doesn't mean to incorporate 2-3 places essentially to make it worthwhile.. At times, you are short of time even for a place that makes you feel on a different world. Fascination for a place is developed mainly due to quality of time spent and hospitality rendered on a visit.... That keeps on motivating to revisit the again and again like you have for Landour..And it has been nicely endorsed by a visitor in your video also. Very nice Abhishek..
Even before COVID, I never fancied rushing through my vacations and covering as many places as possible. Some people just want to tick as many places as possible off their list in the shortest possible time so that they can tell others that they have been there. But for me, vacations are supposed to be relaxing. I have no regrets spending weeks in the same place just to absorb the beauty of a place and getting to know the life and experience of the people living there. Sometimes doing nothing is all you need to do.
Landour is hometown of legendary writer Mr Ruskin Bond too. Slow pace of your video is awesome. Slow pace of your video gives an opportunity to feel the essence of mountain. Respect to Mr Jami too. He is a true gentleman.
Your talking pace and grip on finer details is impeccable. You oodle a lot of calmness, slowness, living in each moment with wakefulness. Your Camera person is fantastic. God bless you and your team.
Staying in Delhi since 32 years. Honestly, it has started to take a toll on my mental and physical health for quite sometime now. Your video is a breath of fresh air. Landour is beautiful.
Yaar Abhishek you sure are doing an amazing job and the best part is you are enjoying every minute of it. Landour is one place I have been wanting to visit maybe its time I did that. Thank you for taking time to share your story leisurely & wisely...
Beautiful content as always ! Landour takes you back in time and makes you realise how beautiful life is , if we just take a moment, breathe and appreciate its beauty ! Mountains and Ruskin Bond's stories both evoke a strong nostalgia in me, thought i was the only one to feel this way ! Glad to know there are others too ! Also this video is pure nostalgia for me as Landour has been my fav place to be !
As refreshing and engaging as always❤ We got accustomed to Abhishek's wisdom but I guess Untravel wants us to hook in new insights, such a welcome thought haan!! P.S. The game didn't seem fair but Jamie compensated it well enough😂
Year.... What are u doing...I feel more chocked in city after seeing your Landour video... The place is magical... Fall in love with it... Every morning while going office close my eyes and transport myself to the place... Don't know when can we be there by person.... Make more and more video of this place with all the love and calmness

I was missing myself for some reason. I wasn't feeling myself but then I knew I was being too hard on myself . To just feel myself back again I navigated to youtube and guess what if I am on UA-cam it's mainly for THE UNTRAVEL SHOW. I am so much thankful and grateful to you. Not going to comment on the content because it always outshines but just telling you that keep on creating because your videos do make a difference. Keep on going as yous serve as motivation for many like me to just stop and not feel guilty for taking a break. You tell me to be easy on myself and now I think I need to revise your content again in order to gain the fullest of myself. Keep going UNTRAVEL for you are pulchritudinous in each and every way and just perfect.
So glad I could contribute in some way. TBH the feeling is mutual. These messages are my source of motivation 🤗🤗 Moreover thanks for teaching me a new word - pulchritudinous. I had to google the meaning 😄
Everyone wants to go back to their childhood days. Nicely presented. How you came to know about Jamie Alter? He is really a versatile person. Can we meet him. I would like to. Thanks for such a lovely vdo.👌
You give altogether a different, a very subtle way of presenting the ethos of the place... Thanks.. I believe we all have a mountain within us but it's hidden, only when we visit an actual mountain that image comes alive & our attention which was until then was fragmented in the clutter of city life gets focused due to the sheer size of the grandeur a mountain commands. It's actually the beauty of our internal mountain which we then witness & get mesmerised. Thanks for sharing 🙏
We are always either behind or ahead of the present moment, mountains are so much in the moment & they so inevitably bring us into the present moment with them, it just feels god like cause god himself is in the present moment, not past, not the future but the joy of being in the present moment....hope you connect.. 🙏
Never been to Landour. But you have made it feels like , I have been there so many times... People can say going to same place again n again is boring but, Bro Landour is worth of revisits... Just waiting for times to be better soon and then here we go to Landour.... Interactive cinematography and great narrative.....
Fantastic to the power of infinity...👌👍👍.....truly loved the simplicity of the vlog....wish ever we as a family visit this place...must visit jamie and of course ruskin bond if possible ...again...great vlog and all the best

No words to describe - How much I enjoy your content bhai... Nowadays.. I don't watch movies or shows to chill after work.. I watch your videos Bhai.. You are making awesome videos, very soulful. Just came across your channel was quite surprised that the channel doesn't have a million subscribers already but later it occurred to me that your content isn't the viral kind it's a slow, real ,organic type....so the growth on UA-cam may be slow my friend but rewards in life would surely be far greater for the joy you are bringing to so many people....Best wishes and best of luck
I was so lucky, I stepped into the store that sells jams etc next to the bakery, and Ganesh Saili was sitting there chatting with the owner. That’s the charm of Landour, you always run into one or another gentle celebrity

And a simple relatable upbringing 😊
There is a music in the nature of mountains that not everybody can feel ..but the ones who can will go to mountains again and again no matter what.
