If I want to open a physical bank account in US, as non-US, and have residential and business address proof from California. Would California LLC be the best option?
Hey James I have a question about BOI. In order to file BOI, you need have an EIN. However, as a foreigner it takes about 90 days to obtain one. The problem is after 2024 you only have 90 days to file BOI. What should I do ? Help!!

first of all thanks for your effort and information. i have hard situation i wish you can help me to know what to do. i already have multimember LLC in wyoming , but i live and have warehouse in Texas so i already made resale certificate in Wyoming , should i have Resale certificate in Texas too ? my main business is online selling on amazon and ebay . and does that need to have Texas sales tax permit ?

Basically setting up a business is simple. However, down the road, things could happen, like being sued. You wouldn't want to lose your business in a lawsuit. So what he is explaining, is some reasons why certain states are better as a strategy to protect yourself from those future possibilities. But some people are not concerned about lawsuits, because they are just investing and have a lower liability profile in their day to day activities. As for you, just figure out what your intended future is, with business and otherwise. Some people have a higher risk of being sued, like doctors, police officers, etc and therefore want to use the best state possible for privacy and lawsuit protection for their side business. Every limited liability entity and corporation has some protection, but there are some states that offer better protection. I think it's always better to have more protection, but he is explaining that you could have challenges opening bank accounts when you don't have a physical address for your business in that state where you are actively doing business (example: setting up LLC formation in Wyoming, but doing business in Ohio).
