@@joekarwoski, yes, he is also very generous and kind in sharing his knowledge. I bought my FR-1X from Kraft music and was fortunate to buy the Mathis version. It just seems there is so much more info than was put in that “HiFi manual” of an owners guide. I’m so grateful to you and Dale for sharing.
@@randybradshaw7060 I bought my fr-8x from Crown Music (Dale's old supplier before Donna retired). I wish I would have known about Dale before I bought my 1x. Enjoy playing!
I use the function switches often on my FR-1X as well as my FR-3x. Subtle use of the pitch buttons can be very effective . Switching the rotary on/off is also very effective on organ passages. The importance is in changing it while performing. These functions also are great for controlling synths over midi. You have to give up the only F# row on the 1X but it is worth it to me. 😎🪗
Thank you for viewing. As far as I know, you can't change the parameter for the modulation. You can get the sheet music from MuseScore, it is a better version than the one I was playing.

You are oh so correct, the importance is changing while performing. It adds another layer of depth. That is what takes the practice.
I didn't know this existed. Can you change the modulation parameter? Where can I get that Folsom Prison Blues sheet music?
