Thanks for the thorough look. I'm really considering this for what I need. I picked up their 13in canvas messenger as a daily bag and it's on its 2nd year as of now, I actually just gave it its first re-waxing since the water resistance was finally starting to give out (depending on use I know some can hold out longer, but I abused mine due to it doubling as my working bag at the warehouse floor). It's definitely not as pretty as it looked fresh, but I'm okay with it showing the wear. Seems like the duffel would likely feel about the same.

This would be a no for me as a gym bag for that price point. Especially if its thats fussy to keep clean. I do have a tacsak 11 I use for edc though and it works pretty good for that.

$299 doesn't even rate consideration. It's a MUCH nicer bag than my overnight bag (even though it's a little smaller), but it doesn't do anything that one won't. It's clearly better than a cheap range bag I got in some promotion, but not ~$250 better. As much as I've seen how much better some more expensive things can be, this one does not appear to qualify.

I have the bag and I do like it. The bag definitely has character. But for my needs, it's a TAD too small. Was looking for a weekend bag. Throw a pair of nicer shoes, two shirts, jeans, socks, toiletries, and the bag was absolutely packed. If it was slightly bigger, I'd be a lot happier. Especially for the price. I may return it. Not sure. Just not exactly happy with it.
