I’m just 3 games into his career he’s had a FAR bigger impact than Davion Mitchell in literally every single statistic. He’s a better rebounder, better passer and at this point is already an NBA level defender as a rookie with lots of room to grow. Their shooting is a wash. I don’t want to call your comment stupid but Devin Carter is far better with more potential than Davion Mitchell ever had:
His debut is nearly 50% into the season - everyone else is 30+ games in and have game legs. This was impressive considering he’s been fully healthy for like 1 week….and no NBA experience. Oh - and his dad is an assistant coach for the Griz - so that was fun to see him debut in front of his father.

I see the Kings defense since Brown's departure a lot more like OKC in 4th quarters of games. Is it just a coincidence or interin HC Christie has something to do with? If they keep up their defense like this or the rest of the season I think we should give Christie a chance to take the team to the next level.

Kevin Huerter should get ZERO minutes...I can't stand that dude. He get a lot of wide open shots due to his long strive but most of them don't go in. I rather a good shooter like Keegan or DeRozan taking a contested shot than Kevin Huerter taking a wide open shot, that's how bad his shooting is...the guy IS JUST NOT a deadly consistent shooter. On defense, as I said for many years now...he IS NOT a good defender. He allows penetration too easy and when you do that...teammates have to scrabble to help out from your mistakes. And as you know, penetration usually 90% of the time lead to someone getting wide open shot. All because of idiots like that either don't play defense or just doesn't have the skill to prevent penetration.

No 5v5 for 8 months, plays 2 g league games (both of which he went nuclear) then straight to his first ever nba game, after a pretty serious shoulder surgery which he wasnt even expected back until march. rebounding better than everyone on the team (minus saboner of course). 30+ games into the season where everyone mostly has their rythem already lol I'm not saying hes the next coming of MJ or anything, but thats pretty impressive. But if you purely look at stats, then I can see how youd miss that and how this looks decent at best.

and it's also considering he played in a G-league game prior to this. So while everyone else got rested, he was on a b2b.

Carter has a 6’9” wingspan. At NBA Combine, he tied for 1st on Max and standing Vertical. He’s an elite athlete.
If Kings can trade Fox for Butler, with Carter and Ellis, suddenly the Kings will be good defensively. Butler is no joke. He can play.
