The brain inhibitor shouldnt work on killer frost because it was explained in season 4 that while caitlin in asleep killer frost is awake and vise versa. Also the whole killer frost being an entirely separate entity takes away from caitlins character. It was so cool to see caitlin as a badass and in season 3 upon being called caitlin killer frost used to respond to it because technically she is caitlin. What i feel shouldve happened was caitlins ptsd from yaknow zoom and ronnie and jay and beingg kidnapped shouldve manifested with her meta powers. Creating and giving her killer frost. A subconscious part of caitlin that protects herself and is cold and dedensive because of her past. Killer frost in my opinion should not be a separate part of caitlin because it takes away from the fact that caitlin herself is also that badass and gives it to killer frost. The flash writers have always put caitlin with a huy and now i feel like in place of a guy caitlin has killer frost it's like the writers have made it so she can't have her own character plot without others involved. Also the season has literally let her dad slip through the cracks where is this man. Icicle is still roaming free but team flash is just focusing on minor tasks and finding and stopping cicada. Who by the way is an idiot villain. So dull. I feel like thomas is a male killer frost and therefore finding and stopping him shouldve been regarded the same as finding and stopping killer frost when she was caitlin. In my honest opinion the flash is trash now. Theyve sidelined caitlin and joe and cisco and given more screen time to nora barry and iris as a family and the show isnt called the familly and flash it's called the flash i wanna c flash be flash and flash is not flash without cisco caitlin and wells. Iris does not count at all and neither does nora because they are not the original team flash.
If you don't like it don't watch I love the flash and I think cicada is one of the best villains. The actor was great at being creepy. Everyone always gotta complain about something you think you can do better make your own TV show.

Julie - Maybe she was affected by the dark matter, causing Killer Frost to emerge, but she was always there, just repressed, without the dark matter. DeVoe could have used multiple abilities, one to remove dark matter, the other to strengthen/recreate the mental block.

She’s a meta human. A meta human is a human with powers not just people with dark matter. Supergirl has meta humans
