Love the snowy scenes. Let's enjoy it before spring comes & the snow goes away. For me, the shocker is the lack of tolls here. Given how Japan is crazy about having tolls on their expressways!
I have always combined the way to deal with the difference in altitude and the mountain sides of this expressway very similar to the A2 motorway in the Altilia-Rogliano section, in southern Italy. The curves are very similar, the course setup is practically identical, but I think the Japanese version is way more impervious. I have been looking for a long time for a video of this road section, thanks!

Wow; many tunnels and some were very long because of the editing. It gave the feeling of being a car race. A nice drive.🚘
