4K Japan Drive | Numata to Yuzawa thru Route 17 68km/ 国道17号沼田→三国トンネル→越後湯沢

The drive starts at Showa IC on Kanetsu EXPWY, Gunma, and goes on Route 17 to Echigo Yuzawa Station, Niigata, thru Mikuni Toge Pass dividing Gunma and Tochigi prefecture. This area has one of the largest snowfall areas in Honshu Island. As the car is approaching Niigata, the snow is getting thick.

父の実家は湯沢の先の石打方面なんですが、駅と言うと湯沢駅って感じでした。
三国峠は子供時分に何度も父の運転で通った道、
何年か前に自分で走った時には亡き父が 後席に乗っているだろうと想いながら懐かしい景色を楽しみました。
夏になったら三国峠走って帰ろ、
