    I think y’all should do these types of episodes more often. It would be pretty dope if y’all did something at the top or end of each year to recap on all the big and overlooked moments in R&B - kinda like how Uncle Murda does his Rap Up series.

    I'm.glad J mentioned how dope the group "War and Treaty" is. They probably don't even realize Tanya is the girl in Sister Act 2 singing with Lauryn at the piano. Great conversation 🌟

    I can see R&B Money Podcast having an awards show in the future! Best R&B artist, writer, producer, collaborative, paying homage to a great, best up n coming, I didn't forget award (people who give back to the community and makes a difference in the lives of others), label give back award, dj of the year, and then feature some of the new artist to look out for and so much more! R&R motivated. The R&B Authorities producing/overseeing it! I can see it!
    Ok. I'm only 2 minutes into the show and paused it to type this....🤦🏾‍♀️ Lemme go finish watching 🥰 Keep up the excellent work gentlemen!

    Usher gave a master class on how to do a Superbowl show. To sing, dance, skate and entertain in front of 65,000 live and Millions worldwide was the epitome of Show business. Not even some of our legends sang completely live. He's an R&B 🐐

    The first thing out of Jay’s mouth was a thank you to Dr Dre and how he opened doors for rappers who came after him 🤦🏾‍♀️. He handled business THEN stood up for his wife. He didn’t take away from anyone’s moment, he literally used his own.

    • @Beautiful_kish
      @Beautiful_kish 9 місяців тому +2

      Exactly!!! But you can always tell when ppl DONT have Grammys because they always feel some type of way of how others handle their moment! Like why jay standing up for his wife making you feel away to the point where you just totally looked over the whole speech. SMH 🤦🏾‍♀️

    33:42 most of these people either directly were snubbed for years or watched their close counterparts parts get snubbed for years and that is where their frustration and occasional disregard to an extent comes from. Miley first speech was her saying pretty much the moment she stopped chasing the accolades that’s when the accolades actually came so she was truly taken off guard after being snubbed so many years.

    Amapiano is an off shoot of south african house, slightly softer the Gqom (which also goes hard!). BlackAmerican artist would really benefit from being in more diaspora spaces. I love that tank got to witness it first hand, because it’s feel good music that commands you to dance in the club. You cannot hug the wall with music from the continent. Look into Asake’s albums(afro-adura (which fuses a lot of genres in praise of the lord and life), Kabza de Small, DJ Maphorisa ❤
    There’s a huge amapiano festival in London every summer and in Durban the Gqom parties go off!

    So in LOVE with you two and the R&B Money Podcast. Not just bc of the obvious...so gorgeous handsome and sexy. Of course I don't know either one of you personally but yall appear to be all around stand up guys, intelligent and business savvy. You complement each other. J seems to really know business and stand on it. Tank about that life, loving and living it. Both can really sang, undeniable. Seem to be humble and truly happy for other's success & dont mind letting the world know. Yall truly capture the essence of artistry, true talent, R&B as well as other genres of music.
