Wow! Blew me away! .. I know that tune very well and have heard it a thousand times in a thousand different ways, but yours was the most inventive harmonically I have ever heard while staying faithful to the melody and its sentiment .. beautifully played!!!
Because of the title of the tune you played (and very exquisitely, at that!) in this video and chose to post on January 4, looking out my window, I can't help but wonder if you happen to live in the Pacific Northwest. Well, in any case, today is January 5, and once again, _Here's That Rainy Day._ (Trivial side note: I was just prompted to wonder whether or not Jimmy Raney had ever put out an album by the title of _Here's That Raney Day,_ and after a quick search, it appears that he, indeed, did. A pity if he had _not_ seized on such an opportunity! Yet, oddly enough, it does not appear that he even played _Here's That Rainy Day_ on that album.)
Tim, just beautiful! Question: How do you keep that P-90 from buzzing when you record? I have an archtop with a P-90 and all of my recordings have an awful buzz in the background of my music. How do I stop it?
Timothy, I have a Martin HD 28VS 12 Fret I will trade you for that Gibson if you might be Interested.. It is in Excellent Condition, LIKE NEW. I play my Santa Cruz The most.
That was beautiful, Tim, thank you :)) I wish my old fingers would move like that now... Rich UK :))
Tim is not only a excellent player but also a great teacher. I can't find the words to describe how wonderful this performance is! 🎸
Stunning. Thank you.
What a Master Guitarist
Thanks for a few minutes of heaven!
Wonderful playing, with THE guitar...
Yes, yes, yes! That tone is wonderful! :-)

Couldn't agree more.
Gorgeous, classy and more.

great sound, so mellow, and well-played! Also very instructive to see you mix lines and the changes.
Just lovely, Tim!

Just beautiful. Great tone and articulation. Love the counterpoint and swing section that follows. Thanks for sharing. Shal
Beautiful guitar! And the amp?
Awesome arrangement. Thanks Tim!
That is a beautiful looking and sounding guitar, and I like your playing a lot. I'm a beginner at playing jazz but still appreciate the genre a lot!
Exceptional.
Tim, that was just beautiful. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful👏👏… I felt like I was sitting right there listening to your soft touch and perfect tone. I’m always amazed😄👍!

Excellent playing and sound..... thanks Tim.
outstanding!
As always Tim, absolutely beautiful!
Is it just me, or do you play that guitar better than usual?
That's great Tim, thx for sharing
TIM ! Every time I watch one of your videos , you have a different gorgeous guitar ! Are they all yours ?
That sound for chord/melody just can´t be beat.
Beatiful played , Tim
Would you share how it was recorded ?
Hi Uffe, I played into a Princeton reverb and put a Senheiser 906 in front of the amp.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🎸🎸🔥
I wonder what the p-90 pickup measures in at?
8K or so

I don’t have too much trouble with it in my studio. Live I might occasionally use a EH Hum De Bugger to keep it quiet.
Nice. Have you tried this archtop with a metal bridge also ?
Are you playing with your nails or fingertips?
Edit: quite lovely by the way
Fingertips
Lovely looking guitar and performance, but as you prove time and time again it’s all in the (your) fingers 🤓
I have a jazz guitar with humbuckers, this makes me want to buy a p90 guitar....
🤦🙏
That is a beautiful guitar but I have to be honest, seeing you without a Telecaster disturbs me a little.

Prefer the Tele tone
