Que inmenso conocimiento tiene ,éste hombre, del blues, cada nota suena a blues, triadas, acordes, escalas, qué dominio! Que pieza de blues de alta calidad! Han disfrutado más oídos, gracias maestro😊
You make those guitars talk. Years on the making. Taste. Musical. One of my fav guitar players of all time. Yes I know there are many beasts out there.
There's some deep and soulful stuff going down here Tim. Exquisite tone, feel and flow of ideas.....and serious dynamics. Love your Blues playing Tim. Inspiring.
Another thing covid and modern technology (especially tech) have robbed us of: No matter how excellent the player, there's still something sterile feeling in ensemble performances where the backing parts are done by machine. Yes, his note choices, phrasing et cetera are masterful but he's locked into a mechanical rhythm. The lack of interplay with other musicians robs it of a necessary essence. Maybe he should have played solo/unaccompanied (if a canned rhythm section can be called accompaniment).
Jan, I agree that the videos that I do with pre made tracks aren’t ideal. But, I do many solo things as well. Perhaps this in will be more to your liking. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment ua-cam.com/video/egP3BD7TqpM/v-deo.html
@@TheRealJanKafka Jan, you do know that once perfection is achieved you become invisible, you leave this plane of existence, which also means nobody can hear you anymore. Two masters at work here - a master of the guitar and a masterpiece of a guitar: blues like the best chocolate or a great glass of wine....thank you Tim Lerch, I'll stay at home for any of those...
Tim as a tele man myself I love all your videos. That Gibson guitar is absolutely gorgeous and it's in the right hands...you make it swing and bluesy all in one!
amazing finger articulation and gorgeous brow expression:-) - historical guitar and the art of playing is like my health life:-) Tim keep it this style!
ciao Tim complimenti e grazie per il tuo blues ,ogni volta è una grande lezione di approccio alla scelta delle note e il modo giusto di suonarle senza mai esagerare
just one "dislike"...hahaha, probably an great meloman or someone who made mistake when they thinking to push on the "like" button. Seriously, who can't hear this wonderful feeling? A perfect groove. Thank you Timothy to play like this.
I worked on this song and a few other last night for2 or 3 hours, and again tonight. Made a lot of progress with the tune and would like to play along to the backing track...PLEASE
Hi there Timothy. I found you through your "Why I Like Telecasters" video was taken aback by your incredible playing and vast depth of knowledge when teaching more difficult concepts. I'd love to get your thoughts on one question: is it worth it for an ES-335 player to get a Tele in the 700-800 dollar range? I am intrigued by the tones one can produce with them but I wanted to get your opinion if it is really worth buying. I have been considering getting one for a while and I have come to understand that you clearly know your way around a Telecaster. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing your upcoming content in the future.
I gave myself a history lesson after your reply. did not know p90s were doing their thing back then. Found 1 of your Gibson's in Australia for sale. $15,500.
I bought them at Ace Hardware. Got a bunch of them to figure out what size works best. They have grooves all around the sides of the rubber ring so they slot right into the string pairs.
Hey Tim, don't you want to get nasty with that guitar sometimes, like Mike Bloomfield did? Some of his licks should have been X-rated. I do love your playing by the way.
I played aggressively for years and still can be coaxed into it from time to time but I prefer to be a bit more reserved since it fits my sensibilities a bit better these days. Thanks for listening.
That guitar should have its own UA-cam channel.
What a beaut. I bet it "plays like budduh."
Tim is just a class act, shining as much as he is subdued. Gorgeous!
Congrats. Tim on finding a Gibson ES 350 single pickup.
Absolutely stunning !
Pretty damn bluesy blues Tim. Really great, thanks.
Lovely phrasing Tim.

@@TimLerchGuitar but maybe the backing track source?
I made the backing track ( it’s very simple just bass and drums)
Wish I could speak the language as well as you do
kindly for the backing track ?
Beautiful playing Tim. Do you have the play along backing tracks available?
Beautiful 1947 Gibson. Are tabs or lesson materials for the Stay At Home Blues available?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Man oh man that is just madly bad. Thanks, Tim!
Hi Tim. Love your playing and teaching. Are backing tracks available to Patron members? Thanks.
That’s a good idea, I’ll post some.

Still tuned a half step down?🙏🙏🙏👍
No, this, like all of my Archtop vids is E standard.

Try one out , if you like it, you’ll know for sure whether you want to get one or not. Of course I think teles are great but so are 335s.
@@TimLerchGuitar I have both. Love them both. Each has it's own voice.
Wonderful. How much of this tune was improvised?
All of it.
Tim, what string gauge are you using? Good taste as always.
12-54 round. wound
@@TimLerchGuitar thank you!
Is that a dog eared p90. 1947? How do you buy one of those guitars?
You find someone who is selling one and give them money ! ; )

That 1947 ES 350P probably has a 3 digit serial # written in pencil.
Hi Tim, what are these little black round rubbers at the end of the strings?
They dampen vibrations back there.
@@TimLerchGuitar I know, what else ;) but what are they and were can one buy them?
I bought them at Ace Hardware. Got a bunch of them to figure out what size works best. They have grooves all around the sides of the rubber ring so they slot right into the string pairs.
@@TimLerchGuitar Ok, great, thank you ! Do these things have a name?
Not sure? Rubber washers? o rings?
I need that guitar, i can take it out and feed him.
What better “stay-cation”, ay?!
I don't care if you use the lydian chromatic concept or not, You can play the Blues brother, and really that is what matters now isn't it. Bless ya.
Lordy I want to get where he’s at in playing guitar. sigh…

That es 350 would turn an honest man to crime. Do they let you have guitars in prison?
