Thanks, learned a lot about the different tool bit shapes and their uses. Is there somewhere you can purchase a complete set of HSS bits that you have described in your video? I am just starting with a mini lathe so I subscribed and will be watch for more great info.
Hj Wencel! yes magsadya ka lang dito at magfill up ng application form. Magdala ka ng 4pcs. passport size id picture with name tag, with collar ang damit at certificate of employment at least minimum of 2 years as machinist maliban lang kung newly grad ka ng college or techvoc major in mechanical. Thank you.

Hi Frank! Yes, you are correct, as long as the tool bit is in straight form in which a side rake is not provided in the tool bit. Thank you and God bless!
Sorry, but there is no different turning knife for right-hand and left-hand threads, you always take the same one. A undercut at the end of the thread is also not necessarily required. You can either make a recess at the end of the thread with the profile of the thread turning knife or lift off the turning knife with the pitch of the thread, so that the thread ends at the outer diameter of the part.
@@VenomClawz I think it's important that when someone explains something, it's explained correctly. Otherwise someone might come along and explain that there are grinding wheels for clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation.

sounds like you're not the intended audience, for simplicity's sake in machine setup i can agree with this oddly understandable foreign man.,
