Mclane Edger Purchase Review, July 2020

This is a short video summarizing my experience purchasing a lawn edger from “Mclane Manufacturing” of Bell Gardens, California. I selected their premium edger with the Honda engine and steel wheel upgrade. My video summarizes my negative experiences with both their defective product and almost non existent customer service prior to returning the edger. Their web site did not warn they had no edgers in stock with a 4 to 6 week delay. My credit card was billed at purchase. Their phone is seldom answered. No voice mails left was ever returned. When their phone is answered I was told I had to wait on Claims and they have policy not to transfer you to that department. Claims would not call me as requested or answer questions in emails. I believed I identified my problem as being an incorrect side frame but was emailed to re-box it for return and refund. In that email they had already scheduled pick up without verifying we could be home. Your experience might prove better but I wanted to provide potential buyers information so they can be a more informed prior to purchase.

Already purchased a Edge Master by Brown Products in Alabama. Cost more than I wanted to pay, but I believe I hot what I paid for so am happy.
