How do we Remember Allah ,by following His Quran ,Every Single Page of Quran ,is Reminder .
Muslims have been doing it (reciting and memorising; even without understanding) Quran annd pretty much nothing else for over a millenia and half and in the process have reached current state. So continuing to doi the same and expecting better results would only be stupidity (as per Einstein). So it may be good time to check this over religiousity and develop some critical thinking, learn STEM sciences, develop economy and improve governance in Islamic nations.
For this it will be required to have kind of reformation by giving up Jihadism, empowering women (50% of Humanity), providing modern education and taking religion out of governanvce, economy & public matters. More of Kamaal Pashas needed!

Trinitarians are inoculated from rationality, facts and logic. It is no surprise that basic reasoning is entirely lost on those that believe that the creator became one of those he created in order to save the created from his own self. In Australia we still struggle with parking, leaving quietly late at night, smoking, not taking phone call in the middle of khutbah and leaving, talking in the khutbah, so YEAH, I would say defeated but not by our enemies or by satan but defeated by ourselves. When I realised what Islam was I was so excited, finally, people who strove for excellence, in a positive enthralling way. That ended very quickly.
Then you need to move to a better area. I've never seen such weakness shown in the mosques, taking calls and taking would get you thrown out in most Muslim countries. Don't think the rest of the world is like that. Your comment should give you hope that it's not the same everywhere. I pray that you find the best of companions.
I don't know whether you are a brother or sister, but will you really give up that easily? You have no idea what challenges some of us reverts face, much worse than what you commented and yet we do not leave the beauty and majesty of Islam. I love this religion and my prophet peace be upon him. Despite the issues in our ummah I refuse to abandon my faith in Allah swt and I believe my Lord will reward me for striving through difficulties. Why are we Muslims not talking about reestablishing the power and control Allah SWT give us from the beginning? The command is to unite under one Khalifah.
The number one concern on the minds of the Muslims is the tragedy in Gazza. The destruction in Gazza is worse than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Which means we have to create a balance of power in the world by creating United League of Muslim Nations. Which is to reestablish the Caliphate because we are children of Adam, peace be upon him .
"United League of Muslim Nations" under one Khalifah will be a strictly defensive Force with a quick response to any threat to the Ummah of Islam.
And it is easy to do it. It will be the Council of Muftis, from which they will choose the Khalifah. Under the Khalifah will be a seat for a Mufti from every country in world with 100,000 plus Muslim population as Islam is for entire World. From every municipality we will choose a representative till we have the Council of Muftis for that country with a Grand Mufti of that country to sit in the Council of Muftis under the Khalifah. All communication can be done remotely with everyone working from home. Most effective and real democratic way of governing where all decisions are made by the Council of Muftis but the Khalifah having the final say. Under the Khalifah, the "ULMN" will have its own army, navy and Air Force under one commander for defending the entire ummah. We already have the hardware from major Muslim countries. They just have to be relabeled "ULMN" when they out to defend any part of the Ummah like removing the Mediterranean Sea blockade by Israelis.The four letters "ULMN" will be enough to deter anyone from doing what is happening in Gazza today. But we have to be the Nation of Al Muttaqun for Allah SWT is saying now:
"You are the Best of People ever raised up for Mankind, enjoying what is Good, forbidding what is evil and believing in Allah SWT" .... Quran 3: 110
Then how can we go wrong when the fear of "ULMN" will overwhelm the hearts of our enemies?
