Indian Christians!. Having studied in Catholic and Protestant/ecumenical schools and colleges, they have what is referred to as a "clipped " English accent!.
How good and pleasant it is to witness people of different cultures and races glorifying God and singing praises to His wonderful name.

Christians in India have been praising our Lord Jesus for the past 2000 years. St. Thomas, one of the 12 disciples of our Lord was murdered in India while preaching the good news. Mount St. Thomas, on the outskirts of the city of Chennai is named in his honor. Of course, the English hymns came about as the result of the British occupation of India. Parts of India still sing their old hymns in their respective languages

It can be mentally exhausting to be marginalised and excluded from jobs and proper home and security, knowing that at any time you could be accused of blasphemy.

I always pray for those who are undergoing persecution in different parts of the world.. what I meant here was that where there is freedom to preach the gospel , people will take it for granted and become cold hearted! When our faith is facing the real test , our genuineness is proven without doubt ! May God help us all to stand firm in the Lord whatever our circumstances be .

Tamilnadu, Kerala both South indian federal states governments have been ruled by state parties, not by national parties, specifically these south indian regional state parties won't do politics in religion unlike the north indian hindutva agenda parties. This is why if we take the survey on india, tamilnadu and kerala states could be the largest christian population state that india has.

One of my very favourite hymns. I discovered the singers from Chennai a few months ago, and they've helped me through this Pandemic in 2020. I love the "traditional" arrangements where we can all join in, such a good tempo, too. Love every minute.

I like this choir because they perform the original versions of the hymns, the hymns at the church where I belong also choose the original versions to be performed at every Sunday Worshiped service.
