One thing I’ve always noticed about Angel Reese is, she’s hungry. Not just hungry for rebounds or hungry for stats for her double streak…she’s also hungry for mentors. She gets a coach who shows her some love and provides guidance, Angel ALWAYS buys into that. She’s hungry for guidance. I remember the comments she would make about Kim Mulkey when she was at LSU, and it just told me even then that she was soaking things up like a sponge.
I really think Angel has so MUCH potential for growth, because she’s trainable. I would love to see her work on her game so much that she becomes a threat offensively.

@@grb024 You may be right. I just think she may be hungry for a lot of things, and most people cannot excel exponentially at several things at one time. There’s only 24 hours in a day, and something will get the short end of commitment. I think about what I’ve heard before and it MAY be true: “You can have everything, but you can’t have everything at the same time.”

Hopefully she is doing it because she actually wants to improve her game, I don’t think that is the case, I think it’s because CC is killing it on those workout videos , even though it’s not CC who is releasing them . AR/CC can exist without each other. Certain ones of ya'll won't let them. Your questions might be legit, but I doubt it bc you pointed out what CC does when it was about AR. @ If u know so much, why didn’t u mention that shes shooting with her off hand and that might the reason? I’m not going to call names or insults, I just like the entire story to be told for context purposes. I know it’s the wrong form because I’ve watched her since high school and noticed when she switched, the issue is she said she taught herself to shoot left handed, so once she got new coaches they don’t even know she’s naturally right handed and didn’t work to fix anything. Only this year I have noticed they have been trying to work on her form on the release which nobody bothered to help her with the other thing they need to work on is she still sets her feet as if she’s shooting right handed, that’s why she’s off balance sometimes. Now I can see that from watching her all these years, but for some reason the coaches do nothing.

As for Angel, there’s a lot missing from her game, and the switching of hands is not to blame for all of it.

I am surprised no one has worked with her on this. She also needs to get rid of those nails if she is going to take long range shooting seriously. The crossing of the wrist may also AR putting more force behind longer shots. Which could be because she can't get a full extension of the fingers because of the nails. to get more forward power for longer shots. People that work with their hands don't have long nails.

IF Angel's heart is in it and she truly loves the game I hope she does get better and better and is around for the next 10-12 years. Lastly, if basketball isn't Angel's #1 true love (as far as inner drive and hunger is concerned), then I can see her going the way of Anna Kournikova and becoming a model/spokesperson and earn her living in that realm. Most of the criticism she gets is because of her poor play and what she says. She never admits to a bad performance or takes accountability for poor performances.
