      Definitely not an approach for a venue full of small fish.
      Deadly if u deal with big carp only.

    I've made the rig now let's go and catch a 40lber, wish I knew this rig before!! 😅
    However maybe it was the watercraft, location; timing and baiting methods that were the biggest contribution!!
    It's a very good rig by the way . But Angling skills catch fish

    Awesome video, ty. Was looking for a list of everything you used to make that rig please. I’m from the U.S. and would love to order every item you used to make that rig please. List of the items and size of the items. Very awesome rig and again thank you for sharing

    Love the look of this and I’ve made up 3 rigs using the same method. I’m finding the hook wanting to turn 180 degrees and present the sharp end over the line on each of them. Anything I’m doing wrong or should I even be concerned by this? My concern was that it could affect the mechanics of the rig when picked up

    Appreciate it.

    • @laurenceeden3915
      @laurenceeden3915 4 роки тому +1

      @@captainchillco1025 that will depend on the boyancy of your hook bait. The larger super stotz would be more suited to carp rigs and you'll need to further fine tune the rig with putty or by trimming the foam.

    Hi mate, I am quite new to fishing and wondering why people use a shot or putty close to the hook when using baits that waft or pop up, thanks for the videos and tight lines ✌🏻🎣

    • @EricPollarrd
      @EricPollarrd 2 роки тому

      To stop them floating off 😂 Not really needed for wafters but some think the weight helps pull the hook down into the lip also

    Would the rig be ok with some maggots tyed to some foam, as long as te hook is just off the bottom, or would the rig work just the same with maggots on the bottom, or is it best just off the bottom

    • @flopnessmonster5114

      I would say yes but you would either use real corn or sinking fake corn. In which case the rig putty would not be needed, although would help with line lay.
