- Pink Salad LDN is a vegan, cruelty-free makeup brand. The company uses vegan alternatives like berry wax to give its products a soft and thick consistency. Each product color is custom mixed with bright pigments. Biodegradable glitter is included for additional color and shine. Various oils and scents are then added for extra hydration and aroma. Originally, its goal was to provide nonsticky lip glosses at an affordable price, but it's since created other products, like lip scrubs, oil hydrators, and lip tints. The products are all handmade in satisfying processes documented on Pink Salad LDN's social media.

How Vegan Makeup Products Are Satisfyingly Made - Навчання та стиль
Most mica powder (a natural shimmer/glitter) is mined from steep, deep shafts using child labour in extremely hazardous environments, without any PPE, harnesses or even shoes. Whenever I see a "cruelty free" brand use it I'm immediately skeptical about that claim (it's very common that companies ignore that the non white children are in fact alive). I'll need to research this particular brand to see if they use mica as a natural shimmer.
I was really with you....until you talked about companies only acknowledging white children. 🤦♀️its more like they buy a ingredient for production but don't care to know how it was sourced.
@@ohh_manda except the countries where the children are exploited is In Asia and Africa, even though you can mine for it in the Americas, Australia and Europe. They are specifically targeting non white children instead of employing adults in those areas or adults on other continents (statistically speaking, in the Americas, Australia and Europe they would be primarily white adults and children).
Does it use mica? I bought a palette of a different brand recently and loved it, but then I realized that it had mica 😭 I’m using all of it and letting NONE go to waste. I am now looking for a new brand that’s mica and cruelty free.
@@jstar2332 they haven't responded 😭
@@patheticmortal373 noooo! That’s so sad! Hopefully they do so I can see if I can buy it D:

I'll one day make some for myself and others. Wish me luck.
@@tula__ good luck my friend 🥰
It's harmful ?
Nothing better than a product with no animal abuse 🌱
A product with no animal or child abuse
@@yoonbooty7458 th people don't do child abuse for making cosmetics
@@unknown_8588 please read about use of mica in shimmery glitter products and how children in Africa are exploited to extract that mineral.
@@unknown_8588 they do tho, many mica was being produce in africa and they didnt use no child in the mining site regulation, many child hurt or die when they do that, i rarely use make up bcz of it, just skin care and i only use foundation, child powder and lips, i only use full make up when im on party or had some wedding reception and i rarely go to it
u do know that non vegan products can be cruelty free [ im im sure vegan products don't go hand in hand with it]
Looks soo cool😍
Pacifica is another company that's vegan. I love their lipgloss and perfumes ❤️.
Not bad. 🤩 I love Vegan Beauty product. 💄🌱
I'm here for the music. :)
❤️❤️❤️
I know it isn’t and it is really cool that they are doing this but it just looks like my acrylic paint
That looks like the making of candy sometimes
Ik this isn't how it is but imagine you get these products and apply them on yourself only for your face to fall off because it wasn't tested 😭
I have looked for ingredients lists numerous times, emailed customer services numerous times (they didn't even respond), and nowhere can I find the ingredients. They won't even say if there's mica powder (majority is mined with child labour) or allergens. Some really shady business practices happening with this company. Definitely won't be purchasing anything from them, and I'd advise others not to either. Honestly disgusted with them. Can't even do the bare minimum.
Website is 403 forbidden? What did I do 😆
Vegan teacher this is for you!!!
😃
Maybe also try to replace plastic packaging?
I made a mini documentary on my channel about a really bomb Cuban vegan food place!
I would check there Instagram because people are saying it’s a scam.
But being cruel to human to harvest the mineral for color pigment?
Why would you need this chemical on your face?
Vegan products have more conservatives
Thank you
Why don't they just use bees wax? It's not exactly vegan but it is cruelty-free.
That looks disgusting hard nope :|
