@@the.chronic.ironic right??? It’s just so effing funny! Now that I’m back responding to your comment, I might as well rewatch it and have a huge laugh in the morning!
they usually put the most interesting stuff in the title but... wow this one did not prepare me at ALL for the video. bless Jenny Slate this is A+ storytelling
She really is. I never watched Parks & Rec (I know, I'm a bad person), so it's only through stuff like this on UA-cam that I'm discovering her. And she's so charming and funny. What a woman.
Seth Meyers is such a good host. He understands her weird storytelling and helps interpret what she means for the audience instead of just nodding along lol.
There are 2 phrased from this interview that I use in my daily life and that is" I'm going to be the most comfortable… I can ever be" and "oh no girl...nooooo!" Usually to or about cats. Been using them for about 7 years and theybare the only quotes I got from interviews I use
i was having a conversation with a friend in college, and they told me they were taking a meteorology course, and I fully thought they were learning about space and rocks.
When I was a senior in high school I took a meteorology class at the local college with my best friend. I got to class the first day and we were sitting together and I was telling her I was excited to be learning about meteors and comets and stuff. She turned to me and said, "you know we're studying the weather right? Like how the weatherman on the news is a meteorologist?" Oh well, still got an A.
Let me start off by saying that I love this show, and have laughed at many things that have already been on this show, and even by those high standards, NOTHING has made me laugh more than this segment. Shame that she got fired from SNL so soon. In college word confusion can lead to hilarity, but on SNL word confusion has devastating consequences.
Honestly I am not sad she got fired. She explained that she wasn't comfortable and such and felt she didnt belong. So I am glad I get to see a medium amount of her because when I do see her like this in interviews it's the best time. Glad she Is happy now though.
THIS STORY IS SOOO RELATABLE!!! I mean besides the fancy school part...but the actual story itself of embarrassing yourself a bit when you’re stoned but feeling so confident going into it and halfway through you realize well maybe this wasn’t the best idea to get super high before coming to this class or whatever the hell it may be in your own version of this happening
"how seems the difference...?"
I died
Stephen Hawking is actually working on that!
I agree with u on that!
I can totally imagine the high train of thought that led to that sentence XD
This is still, to this date, my favorite clip of interview ever, in the history of humans being interviewed. I revisit often.
Yes. I'm back again.
Clearly you've smoked pot (or are still smoking) if this is your favorite clip in the history of interviews.
@@CC-si3crI don’t smoke weed and have rewatched this multiple times because it’s HILARIOUS!
yup, i’m back again. i visit about twice a year 😂

"What that seems, is cool." I am using this next time something is cool, and I simultaneously want to appear smart.
+MasterofPuberty when you see a friend's comment on a video you watch way too frequently...
lightupmyroom Ha, liz it's a small youtube after all.
*pan to Scar (Lion King). "No no! Anything but that!"
If you really want to appear smart, don't use commas where they don't belong.
That story was wild from start to finish

She is in TV shows ('Married' on FX), (Parks & Recreation, House of Lies, Kroll Show), and she is in 2014 movie ('Obvious Child').

sh0rtaznant Okay, but still not my point

:) Yyyyyyesss.
She sounds like Ilana from Broad City, especially when she goes into her, "Ya ya ya ya ya ya!"s. She should be on the show!
only people with taste have watched this more than once congratulations
Haha, this is probably the best interview yet!
I watch this video every time I get sad and laugh so hard it makes my day 😂😂😂

After seeing her as Mona Lisa Saperstein, I could totally recognize her voice in Zootopia and secret life of pets.

exactly what I was thinking! :D
I'd let her sell me a car horn.
Awesome interview.. my stomach hurts from laughing so hard...
Wow, Lorne kicked her off SNL, whatever was he thinking?...
+lloyda620 from the sound of this story, probably that she was a pothead who couldn't remember what a question was, let alone her lines!
She cursed on the first ep she was in, which is why she got canned. It's really a shame.
It wasn't the first episode she was in.
He was probably affraid she'd ruin the overall dullness of SNL
TA A what’s your point though?
Just imagine if she had not become a pothead she would not have ended up on SNL but as an astronomer.
I fucking love this story!!! I feel like I know her, I really wish we could be friends!
She is so funny !
Oh what I would give to have been a member in that class.
Full circle. I’m back to the video that started me down this Jenny Slate rabbit hole
omg she really is Mona Lisa (Parks & Rec)
