I guess some don't like the word cheap because it connotes, "I don't value...value." if that makes sense. Cheap can mean inexpensive but also low value; e.g. cheap products, cheap ingredients. I don't mind but affordable makes sense too. I like the kinky curly detailing cream
Hey Lexie ☺️ that African pride line took me by surprise. I really like the gel the most. It’s not super drying and works with most of my leave ins. If I’m going for a more clumped look, I tend to reach for it and it lasts all week. Sally’s just had half off on stylers and it was only $2.99! I felt like I cracked the cheat code 😂
Everytime I hear your intro for Kinksmas I'm like okaaaay lol. I agree with you on the cococreme products. They're so moisturizing and they last forever. They have definitely become staples for me.
i love the aussie moist avocado conditioner. $4 at target, crazy slip. a true OG. the aussie miracle curls shampoo is nice too! super moisturizing yet definitely leaves my hair feeling clean
Aussie shampoo and conditioner has had me in a chokehold for months now!!! And it’s super cheap for the sizes! But you have me wanting to try the coco crème
Affordable and work great for my hair!! I love Carol's Daughter products, it's just that my scalp needs something else to soothe it. I am going to try the Head & Shoulders Royal Oils shampoo you mentioned to see if it works for me too because my scalp and hair like apple cider vinegar. Tresemme Rich Moisture shampoo and conditioner work well for me and are quite affordable. Thanks so much for this list.🥰
Texture ID products are really good. I love the regular shampoo and conditioner in the blue packaging. I just tried the Texture ID coils detangling conditioner and loved it. I bought their Texture ID coils butter yesterday during the styler sale cause of your review of the product.
Tbh I don’t know what we calling affordable these days🤣 like, my hair wants to feel expensive but my pockets don’t. Maui gives me acne😩 African pride same, acne everywhere. I think I am in the middle but I also only buy them during sales🌝🤣
I feel you. Drug store hair and skin products either don’t work for me or break me out terribly, so I just wait till Black Friday to stock up on what my hair and face likes. Interestingly enough, the cost is actually more affordable than if I bought from the drug store, so it works out.
For me the dove natural hair line their recovery mask…sis. I will never use another hair mask again. Costs 6 bucks from Walmart and a little goes a long way. It’s got silicon in it so it’s not for everybody but my hair loves it.
I consider myself a cheap natural loll, i do have expensive products (ranging from 12-19)..but i mostly get them during black friday or if theres a good sale African pride (i dont care for the shampoo, conditioner or hair masque) -Moisture Miracle Aloe & Coconut Water Pre-Shampoo -Moisture Miracle Curl Defining Gel -Moisture Miracle Curl Milk & Detangler -Moisture Miracle Coconut Oil & Baobab Oil Leave-In Cream -Moisture Miracle Coconut Milk & Honey Leave-In Conditioner -Moisture Miracle 5 Essential Oils -Moisture Miracle Shea Butter & Flaxseed Oil Curling Cream -Moisture Miracle Flaxseed Oil & Shea Butter Gel N’ Cream -Moisture Miracle Rose Water Argan Oil Mousse Aunt Jackie's (My favorite natural hair brand) -Hydrate Me! This great Grannie appreciates cheap products. ❤ Aka affordable. I love Texture ID’s self heating coil conditioning mask. I rotate it with Shea Moisture Intensive High Moisture mask with Mankua Honey and Mafura Oil hair mask. Slam dunk! 😊 Great video!
My favorite affordable deep conditioner is the hask biotin conditioner and leave in is the african pride olive oilbleave in. Both products are very strengthening and softening with great slip
Head and shoulders argan oil dandruff shampoo is also really good! I think my hair loves argan oil in shampoos because I also love the creme of nature argan oil shampoo.
Texture ID, I love the entire line _____________________ . New to your channel, I love cheap. First time natural, big chop in Feb 22, baby spent thousands of dollars. I also love cream of nature honey elongating Gel under $8 and wet-line. My rich products sitting on a shelf looking fool 😂
To me cheap means cheap. When you say affordable it could mean affordable for some but not for everyone. People know what exactly what you mean when you say cheap…stop the nonsense. Now that my rant is over…thanks for the video.
Great inexpensive products for us cheapies!🤣🤣🥰 I haven't used any of them, but I might have to have a look at Maui. A cheap shampoo and conditioner that I like are several of the moisture and curl lines of Tresseme.
Hey Lexi my favorite line is Carol daughter been using since being natural!! African pride pre poo is the truth my fav as well!! I definitely would like to try Texture Id, great video you’re gorgeous 🥰
I LOVE texture ID, Ive been using it since I've been natural (2017) and it's the one line I ALWAYS come back to. My favorite out the line is the styling creme, the twist butter, the whole wash day line up from the original line and the coils line. I even like the daily moisturizing creme from the coils line 😂
The Texture id deep treatment hair mask acts like a protein treatment in my hair and makes my curls pop, but it can be on the dry side, so I recommend using a conditioner after using it. Their styling cream isn’t bad either, but honestly their og products don’t wow me, and they can be misses for those that are protein sensitive, and their gels tend to have a softer hold.
People always arguing over semantics 🙄🙄🙄. Anyway…. I love me an affordable find 😂
Me too.
Always lmaoo
You literally made me pull out the twist butter while watching this. Don’t let me down Lexi 😂😂
I’m nervous now lmao lmk how you like it 😭
I love affordable. I say cheap too. I’m definitely an affordable natural. Thanks for sharing.
Love Texture ID! Especially their deep conditioner. I also love how they always has sales, so I get mine less than $10. ❤️
I guess some don't like the word cheap because it connotes, "I don't value...value." if that makes sense. Cheap can mean inexpensive but also low value; e.g. cheap products, cheap ingredients. I don't mind but affordable makes sense too. I like the kinky curly detailing cream
Shea moisture manukau and honey intensive hydration mask is the truth!

Yessss i used to loveeee those .. haven’t used Aussie in a while
I definitely been using Aussie! I ditched Shea moisture because it was making my hair feel hard‼️but far as a leave-in, shea moisture jbco is OG!
Aussie shampoo and conditioner has had me in a chokehold for months now!!! And it’s super cheap for the sizes! But you have me wanting to try the coco crème
It used to work for me and now it’s dry and hard on my hair
The Curl Peace prepoo is a good one. It’s a similar consistently to African Pride and I’ve gotten it for $3 at Sally’s
Girl carols daughter coco creame has me in a chokehold right now it’s so good and moisturizing
Are you low porosity?
I love Keracare products-except for the gel. It flakes.
Affordable and work great for my hair!! I love Carol's Daughter products, it's just that my scalp needs something else to soothe it. Hi, I just came across your video. Textur ID 3x moisture and the clarifying shampoo. I am going to try the mousse and twisting butter.
Your lipstick is straight up GORGEOUS that is your color!
Idk the Texture ID line was pretty good when I used it, very moisturizing but it made my scalp feel gunky. I wish my scalp liked it.

The manuka honey line from Shea moisture is amazing
My favorite affordable deep conditioner is the hask biotin conditioner and leave in is the african pride olive oilbleave in. Both products are very strengthening and softening with great slip
Texture ID styling creme....omg I use it as my creme in the LOC method. Gets me right, soft, bouncy curls and styles that last!
Which oil do u use to seal ?
@@bilgeharris6423 mielle mint oil!
Head and shoulders argan oil dandruff shampoo is also really good! I think my hair loves argan oil in shampoos because I also love the creme of nature argan oil shampoo.
My mom raised me on the Creme of Nature Argan Oil and the ORS Olive Oil products! Definitely a sense of nostalgia there.
😂😂😂 not sitting on the shelf

I am like you girl. I pay full price for nothing
Like there’s no reason lolol
I love this series! I also love Texture ID too.
Great inexpensive products for us cheapies!🤣🤣🥰 I haven't used any of them, but I might have to have a look at Maui. A cheap shampoo and conditioner that I like are several of the moisture and curl lines of Tresseme.
From your previous videos you were a super fan of mielle (hope i spelled that right). Any reason you don't reach for them anymore?
Honestly no reason, over the years I’ve tried other things and didn’t repurchase anything from them
Here for the products but loving your lip combo! What is it?
Dose of colors x Nyma tang collab lip liner in the shade “chocolate chip” and some clear gloss from Lancôme
I love cheap, affordable, on sale, etc.
Hey Lexi my favorite line is Carol daughter been using since being natural!! African pride pre poo is the truth my fav as well!! I definitely would like to try Texture Id, great video you’re gorgeous 🥰

You have to try the curl essence line by kera care!
I've only used the yellow texture ID but I want to use others if they're any good. Does anyone know?
The Texture id deep treatment hair mask acts like a protein treatment in my hair and makes my curls pop, but it can be on the dry side, so I recommend using a conditioner after using it. Their styling cream isn’t bad either, but honestly their og products don’t wow me, and they can be misses for those that are protein sensitive, and their gels tend to have a softer hold.
Maui Moisture is 😍😍😍😍😍
African Pride Poo is on my list to try it. You just reminded me to repurchase the Royal Oils Shampoo.
Cream of nature Argon oil shampoo & Curl peace preshampoo detangler
Lotta Body didn't work as well as Mousse Def for me. I'm curious to try the Texture ID one. Loving Kinksmas! ❤️💚❤️
Thanks for watching !
Love it
Great video
I’m very much enjoying kinksmas ❤🎉
African Pride has me in a chokehold. The whole line.
