Great progress brother, I’ve watched every single one. Now is the time to address the airstream problem!!!
The front end is catching air and slowing you down more than you think, the two places that are a problem is directly over the front wheels, it’s time to make a fibreglass one piece front end that covers everything with a smooth surface.
Make it more Beetle shaped yet with a Garage Idiots flare! I imagine something like a flat nose Porsche 911.
This will get you into the 9’s.

U Puttin a bug body on to an MR2 chassis is wat helped me with my drift car build as I'm swapping a 1977 Mazda 323 body onto a E36 BMW chassis

I've been watching this bug since the beginning... Before it was an MR2... I was a young man then... 🤔 2024 New Year's goals... 9's in a Bug & a Jeep & 100K sub 🥳🎉... You can do it!
Dude this is SO much better than the first iteration of this car with the B series. I LOVE the B series and I made 709 whp at 34 psi on a fully built LSVTEC, but the K series is far more powerful.

FYI - just looking at all your intake and boost piping, its too long in many area that could be way way shorter, every inch matter in delay & heat mgt, if you're building a race engine

Go price an Autocraft or Pauter build and get back to me because that’s the only thing that isn’t gonna grenade itself running constant 9s or 10s …Nobody loves the sound of a 2387 on 48 Weber IDAs more than me but let’s face it those motors prices and parts are through the damn roof for quality and nobody in their right mind unless you are a fkn die hard Aircooled fanatic (like me I’m an Aircooled idiot)is spending that kind of money and let’s face it Colorado doesn’t have the Aircooled Socal resources either to boot
