Great Video! Thank you for sharing ideas and experience. What kind of camera are you using? Maybe consider a better microphone or maybe a clip on micro so that your voice is louder and more clear. For me being no native English speaker (I'm German) it is sometimes hard to understand you even with volume on max level. Lookin' forward to learn more from you! Keep on goin' and always take care!
Hey bud. When I was building a lot of engines years ago I found a suppliers that had cast foam of some sort of engines and transmissions to make my day soooo much easier. As I remember the whole assembly was around 20 + lbs. They came with different oil pans as well. Doing shouts like this benefit everyone.Subs climb like crazy and new and trusted friends are made for sure. So It is great to see the progress and to know you are all doing well. So folks. Be well and be well. You and your lady Heidy are all doing great. Take care and be well eh.
I was going to say make a mount in the middle to lift the engine my brother pulls and puts engine's in all the time by his self if no one is around. It can be done it's better when you have help engine placement. Looking goid glad I'm watching this art piece getting built. I made some holes to mount my wheels to the legs so I can bolt the wheels from the inside. Then had to sand the rust from leaving it out side prep work done today paint and weld the legs on tommarow. I have to cut 2" off so my chair can roll under the table I want to be coffterble when welding at the table I'm making or what ever I build on the metal table.
That saw is something else. I have some evolution tools. They are real good to use, quality tools. That engine lifting tool worked out good and will make a usefull addition to your workshop
Holy crap that cut off saw is wicked. Looked like a steel blade on it? Definitely not like the one I used at work. I woulda been cutting for 5min. Said I would never buy a cut off saw cause I hated the one from work so much but seeing you blast thru that 1/2” plate changed my mind.
I wonder if you can make a rubber cast of a engine to mock up for future builds it will make it much easier to put a rubber casting of a engine. Think I seen other builders use it.
