Tata power is missing the golden opportunity to build a supercharger network like how Tesla built. They have a great marketshare on EVs and can be gamechanger by building a reliable network of chargers with multiple guns.
If Tata executives drove electric vehicle then they would know what the problems are and have people fix them.
The problem is that corporation and government employees do not drive electric vehicles and experience the problems first hand.
All charging apps should allow you to report chargers that do not work.
Knowledge bro Knowledge ⚡️👍
we need a reliable network than a vast one. The static is reliable.
People that own electric vehicles, even if they charge mostly at home or work, should use a public charger once in a while and report any chargers that do not work properly. Companies that are installing EV chargers need to test the chargers on a regular basis until they can assure 99% reliability.
Tata should have provided higher Ac level 2 charging capacity to it's EVs.. atleast 7.5 kwh.. Which would have made life easy.. As setting up Ac level 2 chargers is very cost effective. Installing DC fast chargers is way too expensive and cumbersome
Newer tML ev has it even in Tiago ev base version
One cannot have everything being an early adopter. 3.3kW is doing great for city driving and fairly good even in the intercity travel.
I don't understand why Chademo charger is included in the tata charging stations, instead they can provide 2 CCS chargers so that 2 cars can use them at the same time, most of the IOCL tata ev chargers are offline, tata should take action on chargers which are offline most of the time
It's funny that Nexon ev max is not mentioned in the ez charge app only Nexon prime is there (prime is also not mentioned) whereas other providers do
Our policies maker are idiot, if you need subsidy then you have to provide ccs and chademo
I read that it's a govt policy to have a chademo charger along with CCS
With 20,000 Tiago ev bookings demand for charger will increase
India needs super and ultra charging stations (working). The naming fast charging should be given only for 100kw+, charging stations only. And obviously new cars should support higher voltage for fast charging.
Sir .. the combination has be a workable one .. cars and batteries being able to take that high voltage would have a much higher tag price and maintenance.. plus still would be low on warranty in comparison to the existing for the masses.. To bring a change, masses are to be involved .. totally my perspective ..
@@asheesharoraEV Im saying as a desire on futuristic model. But not too far, Nobody what's to wait for 6-8 hours for charging where an ICE car takes only 4-6 minutes. So BEVs should support fast charging, and as there is mass adaptation there will be more infra, and price will be cheaper.
@@krishnachandramenon8 All accepted about the desire .. but over public chargers no one even today has to wait for 6-8 hrs .. 60-90mins at the maximum.. Yes I stop at any charger after 150-200kms of driving (2-3hrs) and while I have food with my family and get fresh the vehicle is fully charged for another 200+ kms .. I don't recall if the pattern was different earlier while I was using an ICE vehicle .. I think everyone deserves a break in 5 hours or 300kms of total driving ..
@@asheesharoraEV But still 60 minutes is huge if we are in tight schedule. Can adjust with this, if we are tuned to this driving style. Also, globally these concerns are addressing with new technology and obviously for initial phase the cost will be higher, but can expect a faster phase adoption and there by price reduction... Desire 😀
Can we charge Tata Nexon Tigor Tiago EV in Chademo port in Electric charging stations ?
No. Presently no vehicle in India supports CHAdeMO. These connectors are a result of an earlier made policy which has been ammended now.
All points very well covered by Asheesh .. EZ app need long pending revamp... Advance notification to be given to app user...
Dedicated support team fo EV , fully capable trained to handel customer query 24X7 support in multiple languages + faster response to RSA..
THESE ARE ALL BASICS TO GAIN GOOD MARKET SHARE AND CUSTOMER APPRECIATION
They should make the metro cards compatible for charging
yes NCMC cards should be made mandatory all of the chargers in india
👍
There is a lot of catch up We need to do European American chargers and cars are way ahead
Shailesh should look into this also
Tata and other EV companies should bring at least 50 kWh batteries in their vehicles, then the need to depend on 'outside' infrastructure will decrease. I hope Tata, MG and BYD do that. 30-40 kWh is still too less and creates range anxiety (for families), when we have unreliable charger network.
Everything has a cost with time it will come don't worry
We need RFID.... please Tata Power
It’s incredible that even after 3 years they have not offered RFID tags 🏷️😖
Tata power call center is pathetic, they should have proper on-call support, by doing that we the users can fix any network/ power MCB trip issues on call if we get proper guidance.
Statiq is good in charging in North India
Worst charger... I can say this after facing many issue in past one year & fact is tata power don't care about it.... As a EV owner I lost faith on tata chargers.... Never plan long trip just depending on tata charger....third class charger
Tata power sucks, it's not reliable at all, I faced many times many issues with tata power. they work like gov office.
