      The trend seems to be 1) Non-Turkish Realtors/Contractors 2) Renovations instead of New/Off Plan. Any insight into why this is the pattern I notice from those actually buying property in Istanbul?

    Awesome video can you please please share how you finance the purchase of the property did you buy it out right or it finance via a mortgage in Turkey. Please share contact details for the lady/ renovation project manager.

      Hello Naveed! Thank you for watching our video!
      We used cash to buy the property and finance the renovations. Cash is mostly used to buy properties since the interest on mortgages isn’t that appealing in Turkey. You can find Angelina’s contact info in the description here. You can also visit www.mybricksrealestate.com that’s her company.
      Best of luck !!

    What kind of fee or percentage did your general contractor charge you?

    • @HowWeLife
      @HowWeLife  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Stephen, they charged 10%.
      The range here in Turkey is anywhere from 10-18%. Obviously depending on how large the team is and how much experience they have.

    50k is pretty steep for a reno but if you made a profit that's great... Keep going!! 😂

    Hi I’m planning to move to turkey in July possibly I was wondering if you have any tips on generating income

    • @preyekwalmi3251
      @preyekwalmi3251 2 роки тому

      I schooled in that area, just bring your own money. no income generation in Turkey.. find a remote job, that lets you work from anywhere and then go live in Turkey. good luck.

    Too expensive......

    • @yaprakcetin5558
      @yaprakcetin5558 2 роки тому

      First I thought the same but after watching the work they have done in the apartment actually not too bad, this is not a simple renovation . The best part of this you don't have to deal with the construction workers they are horrible in general.

  • @veramentegina

    she is too expensive.. I went with local craftsmen, and it was one third of her cost..
