I'm literally amazed at what a beautiful home you have at such a price! You're never going to find anything so beautiful, so modern and so comfortable at that price either in Italy or the USA, even if you go to the furthest outreaches of the forest, mountain or desert. I really like your videos and can see that you're a fine young man, very intelligent and filled with a sincere desire to tell others about Turkey, its people, language, culture and history. I've had this same desire since my teenage years: to learn more about your fabulous country. I'm trying to learn some Turkish language too, but it's going to take some time for an almost 62 year old like me! But I want to and you're doing a great job online with your videos. Keep up the good work and I hope one day to come to Turkey and maybe even meet you. Thanks 👍😊

Fun fact: The reason why in America kitchens and living rooms are usually connected is because we generally don't cook as much as turks. And if we cook, we cook easy things like Mac n Cheese, which is easy to do and doesn't really smell. In Islamic countries however, they usually prefer separate kitchens, since they have a huge food culture and always cook a bunch of food :)

Actually food and cooking became entertainment with the advent of cable tv. People are not shy about cooking around their guests so don’t mind if people watch. People also watch cooking in their spare time so seeing someone cook for them is no big deal. It was fine outside with the BBQ years before. Also easier to watch the kids while making dinner after getting home from work.

The system by your front door to see who is coming to see you is called an "intercom" in English (maybe from "intercommunication"?). You view the visitors on the intercom and then you "buzz them in" to let them come in.

Should have explained what Kolonya is mate.. lol the word comes from cologne basically. It's a sort of cologne that will be offered to guests etc. You'll get a liberal pour into your palms and then kinda wash your hands with it. It's very strongly alcoholic so also works as a hand sanitizer or to disinfect small woulds or whatever. The traditional smells are lemon or tobacco (it sounds weird but smells incredible, not like cigarettes or something lol). It's usually offered to guests when they first come in also after dinner or something. If someone faints or doesn't feel well they also hold it under their nose since it opens up the sinuses and kinda works like a smelling salt.
the smell is strong but subtle, and it fades rather quickly. It's not meant to function as a perfume etc but more as a pleasant smelling hand sanitizer

(If you go back)... I live in Quebec, Canada... and I'm hooked on Turkish series... I love your culture, people (although I've never met anyone yet) lifestyle, food etc. I've watched so many videos about Turkey and it's people and learned they are hospitable and the country is rich with history. Also, I fell in love with the language 🤗 Hopefully I will visit that beautiful country one day and experience the marvel ❤ Also, can you make a video about yourself? Take care and keep safe 🙏

I’m in Miami and your kitchen is bigger than mine. You even have more cabinets. My house averages in the $400,000k+ for a common neighborhood, not fancy area, very small yard and 1500 or less square feet, no garage. Your house is very nice!

Oo my God it is so expensive!! You would buy a beautiful villa with a view of the Bosphorus in Istanbul which is one of the most excellent cities in the world.
Miami is also unique but i dont know... i hope you live a good life in your house 😊

Video için Sağol Can!! Çok güzel bir ev!!! Because you're teaching Turkish, I think it could be a good idea to say the name of the rooms and things around in Turkish to learn vocabulary. :-)

My friends and brothers, my mother is sick with cancer. I am a mother of a baby girl. I do not have a place to live, even a room. If you can help me for my baby girl, I am in desperate need of your help. Please respond. Please can your help be a reason to save a girl’s and her mother’s life from the hardships of life. Please do not embarrass me after the response.😔
