- John Bull Trail - Big Bear Lake, CA
John Bull was the last Jeep Badge of Honor trail we ran in the Big Bear Lake area. I would say that there were a lot more obstacles on this trail compared to the other two but the wet sandy rock garden of Holcomb Creek was the toughest to navigate. We ran John Bull from East to West starting with the larger gatekeeper and uphill climb. I likes the challenge that the boulders offered and the large pines throughout. Overall it is a great trail and we would definitely run it again sometime. Maybe West to East next time.
That was some beautiful spotting! Excellent work to both rigs
Thanks for checking out the video. It was a great place to explore.
Love seeing the 2 door getting some.
My wife was able to get it right through without issue. Since then we have upgraded the lift from the Mopar 2” to a MetalCloak 3.5”. Definitely much more planted now. Thanks for checking out the video.
@@DirtyChuckwalla love my gamechanger lift. , I paired it with the falcons and boy am I a happy camper
@@jlopes68 Same here. Works really well together.
Awesome video bro! Looking to do John Bull soon.
Thank you! It was a fun trail. A little cooler up there also.
@@DirtyChuckwalla I bet.. would you day it's about the same as Holcolmb Creek?
@@O4lo Holcomb Creek has the toughest section to get through but John Bull has a lot more obstacles. If judging by the hardest obstacle I would say the wet, sandy creek bed of Holcomb Creek is harder and there is no bypass for it. We ran Goldmine and Holcomb Creek in one day and John Bull the next. Definitely fun, challenging trails.
@@DirtyChuckwalla Copy Thanks for insight brother! Excited to do this!
Looks like a good time. How long do you think it took you?
Thanks! I would say we were on the trail for at least 4 hours. We were not in a rush and took our time at each obstacle.
