TWAAP, I really don't mind what subject you're covering in your videos...hell, you could even film yourself emptying the kitchen bin and I'd still watch it 😉😄
hey sweetie ..... if I didn't know any better I'd say you were heading to Spain for another mega adventure!! You definitely have the gear 😍 I love the whole set up AND it looks cool too...... go have some fun !! 🚴♀🚴♀.................. can't wait to see the video !! 💖😘
I am using those for years. Good choice, they are solid, reliable and really waterproof. The only downside is that with time the mount inserts will eat up the carrier tubes. It's funny, that the plastic is actually stronger than the aluminium when it is rubbing as you ride. 🙂 Don't forget to make tight the plastic screws in the bag fom time to time, like at the beginning of every season. They tend to get loose and then you just lose them. 🙂
Hello TWAAP☺️, Sorry I’ve been missing your videos. I’m going to go backwards and watch what I’ve missed. It looks like you’re doing pretty good. I’m happy to see that. Luv your videos and I just hope you stay healthy and safe inside your body 😉🤙🏼
Ortlieb is the way to go if you want reliable bag. If you plan to do a long trip, I highly recommand you to swap those flat pedals by clip-on (like mountain bike version, you can easily walk with shoes). You rear of your leg will be active and this will relieve your quadriceps. Your body will thank you.
Okay other bicycle riders, weigh in. It looks to me like the saddle is too high. I start out with saddle height at 109% of the inseam. Also, on the foot position on the pedals I ride with the ball of my foot directly above the pedal axle. It appears the current position has the foot too far back. That may be because the saddle height is too high, but when one switches to bike shoes and cleats the position becomes more important.
I also thought maybe the saddle looks too high, it depends on your shoe/pedal/cleat heights. As a very basic rule of thumb I was taught pedal without shoes on arch of foot and without any dipping of the hips, then when wearing shoes and pedal with ball of foot on pedal your knee shouldn't quite straighten. Good quality bags, looking forward to your next trip Twaap
Check 2:30 and you are very tip toe on the pedals. You are stretching calves (calfs?) to reach down. It makes you look very good but angle your heels down and try lower saddle, you will of course build a bit with the soles later. Heels down help enormously to control. Heels up also is bad since it means you slide off pedals forward as well during hard braking or difficult terrain. Be aware that using SPD/cleats lets you get away with many sub-optimal techniques. 😊 Good luck and nice color matching. PS I have the same bag for many years commuting, it’s good but double check it is clipped in always or it will hop off, my laptop knows it… 😂
Good choice I had them for years they are still ok. Also, carrying load on a rear rack with hanginbags is better than tge now fashionable appendices under the saddle or on the handlebar
What size frame did you buy and how tall are you? It almost looks as you could go one size smaller for proper fitment. I'm looking at your angles/position on the bike at 2:31 with your right leg in the 6 o'clock position on the crank along with your reach. Just curious how you feel on the bike and if you had a chance to ride the next size down? Of course you need to bee in your shoes and riding gear for a better fit. It looks as if you have a different stem to correct part of the issue, the saddle is moved almost all the way forward, and your foot is extended downward and should be flat at the ball with riding shoes on. The nose down position most likely means you're on the wrong saddle and I'd recommend good quality cycling padded shorts. I'm 6'4" and have bikes from 58cm-62cm so its not always the size number but how the bikes fit you. I have mnt. bikes from L-XL as well so there are many variables. I've been setting up bicycles, motorcycles and cars for a while so just pointing out what I see encase it may help someone. I hope you enjoy your new bike but if it doesn't fit make sure to talk to your Trek store and make them work with you. I hope some of that makes sense and I just want to make sure you're happy and were sold the correct bike! You have a 30 day guarantee! ;) Wishing you many smiles pr miles!
Very nice! Do you intend to ride to Spain (Malaga) with your Trek gravel bike sometimes in the future? Apparently you are equipped very well now to take all gear needed with you on a tour. 💪
Great choice in bike bags...name brand and good quality. Also, your riding position aka torso angle leaned against the wall looks good. Not too upright and not too aggressive aka aero which places unwanted pressure on your nether parts. Key to road bike or drop bar gravel bike fit is 'finding Goldilocks' aka just right level of aggression. Too upright, you catch too much wind and can't get your glutes into your pedal stroke and too aggressive, harder on your back, neck and wrists and private area. This takes a lot of trial and error. A general comment about the spectrum of two-wheel riding. To me, we are each on a journey. You are seeing the virtues in bike riding without a big engine. You may even develop into a serious performance cyclist and spend more time pedaling versus riding a high performance motorcycle. If you want to learn more about cycling, GCN out of the UK is a great youtube channel. What you will realize or maybe have by now, a transition to bicycles from a 150 rear wheel horsepower 1 liter motorcycle is natural. After you have gone to the well repeatedly, time and time again experiencing the rush of a high power motorcycle, it becomes more routine. Its more fun to push your body and compete with your friends. Many pro superbike riders train on road bicycles because you have to be very fit to be a world class superbike racer. I transitioned more to pedaling bikes years ago. I will however always love motorcycles. I also like high performance ebikes as in 40 mph top speed e-bicycles because like you, I like speed. In America police don't really care about motor power...mine are around 2000 watts or so...as long as you ride courteously among others. Let it eat on the open road and nobody cares. Just love your fitness and world class a_ _. You are awesome. Stay safe. P.S. your saddle is a bit too high. There are formulas you can apply but some great youtube videos on the subject. A saddle too high versus too low is the most common mistake. This not only causes your hips to rock during the pedal stroke which can cause saddle discomfort but also reduces ability to employ high RPM cadence comfortably. A saddle too high is always hard on your private parts when using the drop section of the handlebars because your pelvis is rotated more forward. A suggestion for channel content is go to a professional fitter for a bike fitting. Or, if you know a 'real accomplished' friend who has raced at a high level and ask him or her to evaluate your fit. Fit to the bicycle is a puzzle that really takes many years to understand. People who are accomplished at cycling have studied it like a musical instrument and why they are good.
Hey Little One, I see my friend Piglet picket out some nice bags for your bike. My only question, is any of it reflective, for like car lights, and such. As always, be safe, and stat healthy. XOXO! WB P.S. Do you chew your nails, or are you some kind of a Doctor? lol!

Saddle way too high and too much forward. You need to be able to just about pedal with your heels on pedals - there legs straight. And when cranks are horizontal your kneecap should be vertical with pedal axle. If a bikes reach is not right, then that is adjusted by buying a different length stem. Disregarding this will lead to discomfort eventually and to aches and pains that can be all avoided by right fit/adjustments.
Still don't get the scope of this project. She rode 1000 km on a 2nd hand bike while the helmet was in the best place. Fixed on the handle bar. 🙂 Best place ever! And now bought a gravel bike (wtf???) and adding bags and converting it to a tracking/commuting bike but no suspension... Very smart... Why does she need thru axle for bikepacking? The pedals are still stock so avoid offroad with it pls. Just one question for the engineer genius.... The dirtbreakers will be easier to install AFTER the bags? :-)))))) Or will u wash those small plastic holes after every day of bikepacking/dirt? 🙂 I only hope u did not forget to replace the original MEN saddle for a WOMEN version. With these tyres don't go on gravel pls. Okay nice to see your ass tettens but anything else? For bikepacking this bike is completely overkill. Comfy? Not at all. A cheap trail/xc bike OR a cross-trecking would do it way better and more comfortable.

Hi....i love you're decorating it well your GravelBike 👍👏🌞
Once you get a taste of gravel at speed there’s nothing like it….speed becomes your addiction. Speed looks good on you.
