Thanks for this video, my family used to be fishers and the ship of my greatgrandfather now calls Fraserburgh her homeport. Her name now is Maggie Ann FR110, but used to be Wouter Senior SCH 234. Glad such a beautiful place is her “new” home.

Fraserburgh is a place that’s went down hill due to drugs and fishing regulations. I lived there for years in topping gardens good folk left behind

Not specifically a photography video, but the tonality and color in your "self-portrait in forest" (9:26) was exceptional for what can be a difficult lighting and compositional situation.

I was very pleased with how that image turned out. I'm usually not very good at woodland photos and I am often disappointed in what comes out of the camera. I too liked that image though :)

Oh that view to the lighthouse incredibly inviting...so many wonderful things to see in that area as well as ALLOF SCOTLAND! The wetlands is where we live otherwise know as ‘the low country’ here in our area the main difference is the alligators living there !,I will have to put this area on our visit to Scotland...wonderfully uninhabited areas to explore and enjoy the solitude and beauty of your amazing country...thanks so much for sharing !

You certainly do - it's a different side of Scotland that many people miss when the come here on holiday but it has so much to offer and much less tourists than many parts too which can make it extra special.

Splendid. I could almost smell the salt spray calling me to the sea. And what a stately home for the doos! This gives me ideas for a future trip up North-places I've never been. I hope you got to eat lots of that scrumptious food!

Another perfect spot to investigate one day. You mention Summer & Autumn but what is there to do during Winter? When you picked up that stone in the dining room I was immediately reminded about some photography I did a couple of weeks ago. I was at the Central Coast Highland Spectacular and was clicking away near the Highland Muscle Men. One of the participants asked a lady if a stone was hers! Normally one wouldn't think about such a thing but when these large stones are used to hurl through the air...

Thanks. This video was part of a tourism campaign into everything you can see and do in and around Fraserburgh in 48hrs. I covered half of it and a guy called Neil AKA Travels with a Kilt did the other half. If you want to see more of Fraserburgh itself check out the video I did as part of the NE250 campaign 🙂

Too much, too fast! I would have loved to have seen more of each location. You could have made this a whole series. I know I could grab a map but heck I’m lazy and it would be nice to see where these places are in relation to each other.

I have filmed individual videos in most of the places featured in the past. This was a video done for the Discover Fraserburgh Tourism Group and I needed to include my trip in one video. There will be more photography specific videos coming from many of the locations featured in the near future :)
