Nicely done. I tried the same thing and crashed in the woods :( I was looking for videos on how to emergency start the engine while still in the air. No luck yet
hello how can I reproduce the engine fire ? I flew for tens of minutes with an oil temperature of about 150 degrees and pressure below 1 but nothing the engine stops but does not catch fire.
Very nicely handled sir! Great deadstick landing!
Thanks mate. Your video helped me in learning to start her. Took a few attempts. Now getting the hang of it. Love the 247! 😊
@@Adventure494 well your emergency landing was an example to us all! She is a beauty that’s for sure!
Great video! Great flying! I love to see emergency situations like this and how they are handled.

Thanks. Restart in flight is something I need to try. I’ll probably do a video if I am successful. Thanks for suggesting 😊
1:16 I pictured the mechanic hanging on for dear life while trying to wind up the flywheel midflight
Exactly! figuring out if restart is possible mid flight. 😁
5:44 the engine cowling detached? I never knew MSFS 2020 has animations for aircraft damages.
yes you can detach the cowling! ;-)

Hmmm….I don’t know how to reproduce the fire, it just happened 😅
how do you set them on fire?
I don’t really know, it just caught fire. I may have overrun or over primed the engines
@@Adventure494 Oil temps and pressures - monitor them! Use shutters and carb heat/mixture to control. Watch your MAPs
@@bikeguy3034 Thanks Bike Guy!
