If you’re questioning the moral of this story- you obviously haven’t grasp the basic principle that “ The punishment has to match the crime.” Does death by dismemberment fit for infidelity? The husband who beats his wife? Who in this story is without sin? Who in this story is innocent? Should the husband and father be dismembered for coercing her to marry against her will?
