So skin colour falls under discontinuous variation
And blood groups ?
So if im asked to list examples of discontinous variation or continous
Height would be continous
Hair colour would be discontinous
So its just defined by if its represented by a number or a word?
Yes, you can tell if a variable is continuous if it is measured by a number - doesn't have to be whole number. Variables described by words, are in categories like colour and are called discontinuous.
but i was thought that the eye colour is continuous varition.
l don't know the reason exactly but she explain something about genes.

It's characteristics that are in categories, e.g. colour, blood type. These are not measured in numbers. Usually limited set of values, so blood type has four main values.
