Houston's ISO game style isn't going to work this series. I get that they've been playing like that the past two seasons, and they've made it work, but the Warriors got too many good individual defenders. Houston literally spends half the shot clock trying to get Harden switched onto Curry, giving him just enough time to make one move and shoot a shit shot.
Seems like harden wanted looney on him this game.
@@l9ikjam yup, and they got the macth up they wanted for a couple of possessions or so...Looney is just too slow to defend on top of the key, and Harden can blow by him with just a few dribble combo. If the help comes, then Harden can lob it up to Capela so it's 50-50 on defense. But Warriors are willing to give Harden a layup as oppose to the regular step back threes. The reason why Looney is switched to Harden is because Warriors is trying to hide Curry from defending Harden, and at the end of the day, someone has to guard him somehow right? So Looney is the last option, if Rockets don't get the match up, they'll re-screen again and again

GS movement at times is so good, add 3 top-level range shooters and you get instant demolition of teams (they can pull out a 10 point lead in 3-4 plays when they play hard d too). Rockets must feel a little dejected after that...
Warriors are a better team than the Houston Rockets. They play a better brand of basketball and will ultimately win the series. Houston will always struggle being so reliant on foul calls.
The Warriors will advance to the NBA Finals again this year.

Keys to this series (in my opinion):
1. Let Harden play as much as he wants, because this gets his teammates out of the rhytm. Force him to play any defence.
2. Keep Houston shooters out of rhytm.
3. Capela - Looney matchup. On both ends. Containing Houston easy drive to alley oops.
4. GSW extra pass easy under the basket points. Mostly from Green to Iggy/Looney.
5. Iggy offensive performance. If Houston can't leave him open they can't double Curry/Thompson/Durant that easily.
6. Boards, boards, boards. And second chance points.
7 Containing silly turnovers on GSW side.
8. Houston puting someone reasonable on Durant. They tried Gordon last year and we know how it ended. Have they?
Based on this I give 1 game to Houston when all their shooters will have their day. If GSW responds in next game that will be all. If not I give 1 more to Rockets. So 4-1 or 4-2 IMO.
