Remember, dogs are part of the same family as wolves, foxes and jackals (Canidae), only few genes are different. Dog is now regarded as a sub-species of the wolf species "canis lupus familiaris". Even Biden's dog Commander has bitten 15 Secret Service Agents.
We are sympathetic to your parents’ situation. I think your in-laws, your friends and subscribers were also subjected to similar situations at your home. Many people are seriously allergic to dogs and cats. Presence of dog and cat hair can trigger a serious allergic reaction. They have to use EpiPen, use anti-allergics or even call an ambulance.

Over acting nahi bhai jinko Darr lagta hai unka essa hi reaction hota hai. I have 3 dog's as well and meri mother in law ka bhi same reaction hota. She always said bete pehle apne dog's ko bandho because dog's ko lick karna and jump karna pasand hota hai. Jinke pass dog's nahi hai unko jumping and licking se problem hoti hai.
