    Purchased one today and used it on my car. I found the detergent bottle worked well when using 100ml of detergent topped up with 300ml of water. My car looked like it had been covered in crazy foam. The washer was strong enough to wash off three week old bird crap.

      Did you use with a bucket as I got one yesterday and it struggled to suck from the bucket which was the reason I brought it. Does not seem strong enough to suck the water up when there is air in the pipe e.g. to prime the pump. Works fine if using mains water as the water pressure overcome the problem but hopeless from a bucket. Is mine faulty or did you experience the same.

    If you add detergent to the bucket also. An you can buy higher quality one that bubbles and foams alot more. Works amazing with the gun.

    Bought one despite bad comments. Realise it's limitations, quick car wash,windows,caravan,furniture. Snow gun works well, off static water, use plenty detergent. Only negative, gun and lance doesn't fit the standard Lidl big (135) Pressure washer.

    Note for cleaning (motor)bikes, you don't want to use a high power pressure washer, but rather something like this. Reason is with a high pressure system you spray water in places you'd rather not have water. Like bearings in your steering column, calipers etc This system is a lot more gentle and better suited to wash your vehicles

      I agree totally. Was thinking about buying one of them for washing my trials bike down before I load up and take the mud home. I used a karcher 18v today and it was great.

    It looks to me like theres an adaptor missing that fits the lance and bottle for foaming. If it ever wont suck water but runs the motor, the pipe in the handle came off at the pump end, push it back on and hot glue the pipe so it can't move.

    Edit: I'm going to leave my original comment below... This works really well now. I investigated the reason why the product was sucking in air, I thought that maybe the rubber O ring was split or something then I noticed the inlet bayonet whilst looking screwed in to the rear of the unit fully, turns out it wasn't. Gave it a good hand tightening and Bobs your grandmas other son.
    I just bought one, it's going straight back it's absolutely crap. It can't even suck the water up from the bucket and connecting it to the mains water it really has no pressure other than the tap pressure. It leaks around the input connection so it's clearly just sucking in air.

      Yo Martin, I had the same exact experience and was about return it until I looked up a review to see what if I was missing something. This video didn't cover it but your comment did, cheers mate!

    I was going to buy one on Sunday when they come into the shop. But looking at the poor pressure. I don't think I will bother. As you say. Do you really need one.

    We do not have access to electricity nor water outside our apartment building, so to wash our mountain bikes we have been very satisfied. BUT very often the washer just WONT output water no matter what you do, while on other occasions it works. I see you had similar difficulties. I have to try that hose submersion trick, but we use a canister with just a hole, so it is a bit difficult to do.

    • @poppypicanto
      @poppypicanto  4 роки тому

      Same here......just sometimes it won't bring up the water for output. It can be a bit random....like trapped air. 🤔.... but when it does work its very good.

    • @ianhodges1657
      @ianhodges1657 Рік тому

      Same problem and the hose submersion does help to get rid of the air in the pipe or if you operate the washer close to the ground but it struggle to suck air at the normal standing level which results in intermittent jet output and this was the reason I needed a cordless to wash my boat down after pulling it out of the sea when no water hose or power is available.

    Cordless vacuum cleaners are better than corded ones if you buy Bosch 😎

    No substitute for a rub on most jobs. High power pressure washing is bad for car paint (and machines in general) unless your very carefully and you can still write your name afterwards

    Can you hook it up to main tap through a hose?because you would get a better pressure then

    • @ml9052
      @ml9052 3 роки тому +3

      Yes, the hose connector on the bottom of the pressure washer is a universal hozelock type connector.

    Most of the tools I buy at lidl are good and cheap. This thing stopped working after five minutes. Going to try and return. It was only 24.99 so whatever. I'm way ahead of the game at lidl.
