The tasks are divided in to 6 difficulty levels! Which member will get the hardest work? And will the members do a good job in helping the grandmas with their work?

People hate on deffcon but they never see his caring and considerate side. In the early episodes of season 3 he was the only one who got off the bus to pat on joohyuk's back while he was vomiting. He is also the one who brings out the towel first whenever someone is wet, he massages others back after a game. But no people just like to hate on him just because he tries hard. He may be annoying sometimes but it doesn't change the fact that he is extremely helpful. Not to mention he is great in talking and making guests comfortable.
I'm glad someone else has noticed just how considerate Defconn has been from the very start. From all I've seen, he's the most considerate of all of them, and yet all he gets is people wanting to get him off the show. People only see him "trying too hard" without realizing this show has been his dream for a long time. He gets accused of "trying to be Kang Hodong" or "trying to be the center" simply for sincere enthusiasm and for making people feel welcome.
It's like they're blind to all his good points--of which there are many--while at the same time being blind to the others' not-so-nice points, like how "rude" they can be. Taehyun and Junho routinely slap Jongmin around, and yet you won't see any comments about that. It's all for show--a VARIETY SHOW, at that--and yet people speak of Defconn as if he's the scum of the earth. They're ALL lovely, hardworking people, so at least be fair in how you all hand out criticisms.
Finally someone said it! I didn't even know that him being very enthusiastic and loud was a wrong thing, until I read the comments. I feel really bad for him. :(
I hope they see this episode and shut up now. cus Connie really is a great guy.
Who hates him? Why would they hate him? Is it because he is overweight? He is my favorite on the show.
+YoLy Candelaria he is kinda over the top on the first few episodes, but his act is better now! and besides he was so considerate on those episodes, like what the original comment says
It really broke my heart when Junho's mother asked him when they would meet again. She must be plenty lonely.....

Korean celeb always like that they don't care about they own parents. I remember there is one korea celeb that became angry just because his mom use 70 dollar in 1 day so stupid.
Through this episode I started to love Defconn even more because of his sincerity.
It was so adorable when he told the lady to sleep that he'll go get water and while she was sleeping he finished his work so he could surprise her!
He worked harder than anyone else. He was so positive all the time and didn't even complain. I wish him the best!

watching the grandma pluck peppers with "EVERYBODY GO APESHIT" in the background was a thing i never knew i needed. i had to pause from laughing so hard

This is my favourite episode of 1 night 2 days! It was so heartwarming how the members and the grandmas became so close to each other! My favourite duo got to be Kim Junho and Grandma Mallye. Even though her life was rough.. she worked hard and try to live happily. I cried when she talked about her life and her husband. :')

I think that Defcon shines most when he is with guests. You can see that he can make them feel comfortable, by talking to them and laughing. I really like him, and it's a shame that people hate on him without getting to know him better. He might be kind of annoying sometimes (we all have friends like that) but I think that 1n2d without him, would be missing a big piece. Anyways, Defcon fighting! 1n2d, fighting!!

I honestly really love the direction where 1N2D is heading towards to right now. Since the other seasons have covered most of the 'trip' parts, I'm guessing season 3 is going to focus more on connecting with various kind of people and lives (the non-smoking trip, the teachers' all-stars, and Dejavu trip) - Crawfish PD is doing a good job, and he just knows what to pull and what plot should the trip be.
This episode was one of the most heartwarming ones ever - the cast members were honest and helpful and these grannies were so cute
I just love how Juhyeok call her Mom and act as he was really her son AND he HELD her hand throughout the day. This episode is so heartwarming from all the members efforts. 😍😭
Mallye's speech about her husband made me cry :'( I really love how hardworking she is and it amazes me how much she's worked to support her family.
I feel like this episode is a metaphor for Defcon's casting in 2D1N, he doesn't make a good first impression but he's working really hard and eventually grows on you.
Junho is definitely the funniest, great chemistry with the grandma, it really feels like he's her son lol.
defcon has a very good heart. he is so generous☺️
What a beautiful episode. I love it when they included commoners in their show. I always think Defconn is a good hearted guy and through this episode I can see his sincerity. Junho is funny as always. I also love Joo Hyuk so called mother. The way she treat Joo Hyuk shows that she really want to do her best for her 'son'. Cant wait for the next episode ^^

Wow, this was a beautiful episode. I love the fact the women are older, but still are able to do for themselves :) The lady that was with Junho seems like a really positive woman. This made me miss my mother and she's not that far from me.
I think at every episodes of 2D1N, I see Cha Taehyun as the best man. A husband like him is so nicee. lucky his wife to be his only girlfriend and first love
you guys can hate defconn all you want but you got to admit he went the extra mile here. he did his job without complaining and cheating his way out, in the end he even wanted to surprise the grandma with his work. he fixed the light even though that wasn't in his job description. he carried the grandma even though she vehemently refused but in the end she enjoyed it. i know you guys might hate him because he's always "in your face" but i really like his enthusiasm and energy, you can tell he really wanted to be on this show and it's not just another job to him.

Please please make the rest of season 3 episodes available to watch. I watched all the episodes from 2013 - 2019. From 2013-2018 were the best. Always makes me laugh and cheer me up after having a tiring and stressful workday everyday. Season 3 is the best therapy for my depression.
this was the best episode in a long time - i was fluctuating between laughter and tears; it made me an emotional mess and i am grateful for it. it's beautiful to see the cast members humble themselves and become so open to helping these ladies to their work, and open themselves to the lives and emotions of these ladies.

i cried when the grandma was talking about how mush she loves and misses ber husband its so beautiful to see such people who love eachother even after soooo many years and to see how hard working they are makes me think can i be like them?
ohhhh waaooo nothing compares to this program, the best of all, this program really deserves having high ratings on weekends

This episode is worth to watch for. Junho and the grandmother are so funny. In a nutshell all this grandmothers are really funny. I crack up from the start to the end.

This was such a good episode! I really feel sad when I see elderly people living by themselves and doing such hard work. I really feel sorry for them. It's probably the most fun they've had in ages. I really do hope that the group visits them or at least keeps in contact with them from time to time.
Seems like Juhyeok enjoyed it alot. And Mullye was so cute!
It's funny how the kdrama "Producers" included the reactions of the elders about the helicam. It's exactly the same scene 😂😂😂😂😂

Omg! I had to watch this episode again, I love how respectful these guys are with the grandma's and how comfortable they are around them. This is what kids need to see more often! I love how they get into giving their all to do the work in order to help the elders. They learned a valuable lesson & had a ton of fun, that's a beautiful thing!!!! I will show this to my grandchildren. Tx.
I really enjoy to see all the grandmas so positive,active,happy and hard workers. They send us a message to our hearts. Doesn't matter what you pass thru in your life, be positive and pass good vibes to others! My dear respect to all ladies who pass thru this season!

me too, RM usually use Famous Guest as point selling, but 2D1N not... in 2D1N member and crew very close, their action and relationship are natural without script, and many episode are valuable, nice and heartwarming for exp this episode, all star teacher.... etc. for me i like JJY so much, his personality adorable : rude but care, Unknowledge at once genius, his ramdom Guy and i like that

The scene when Juhyoek took photo with eomonni ... make me sad. How sad it was when eomonni find out 3 years later Juhyeok was gone... but the photo reminds forever in our heart. Rest in peace Oppa Juhyeok.. so long and good night.
This episode of 2D1N is the episode that always makes me think, this is the best reality show I've ever watched. Good job for the members and the staffs, also our beloved grandmas.

This is maybe my favorite episode ever, it's so touching
This was one of the funniest and one of my favorite episodes I have seen of 1N2D, ever! All of the Grandmas are so cute and funny especially the ones with Defconn and Junho.
I also need to comment on Defconn. Up to this point I can't watch an episode without people complaining about him in the comments. He is always the first or one of the firsts to greet guests or just people that they see while filming. And not only that he really gets up close and personal with people by shaking their hands as well. I feel like he got a lot of hate because he was perhaps loud or outspoken but in season one Kang Hodong was the main guy and he was louder than everyone else, etc and people weren't giving him all this hate. If you watched the first episode of this season Defconn talked about how much he liked season one, etc so I feel like he thought perhaps if he acted a little like Hodong people would like season three as much as season one. There have been things about all the guys that have annoyed me at one time or another Ijust don't think Defconn deserved (deserves) the hate that he is given.

Defconn and Junho definitely shined in this episode. They may get hate from being jerks to each other but it's because it's their role so that we would find the show funny. The women/grandmas/mothers are the salt of the earth. They reminded me of Pearl Buck's novel "Good Earth." Of the women in Baguio I worked with, When they voiced that all must eat, it reminded me that this is the wisdom of mothers: to nurture and to sustain.

I'm deadass so tired of people complaining about defcon which y'all probably won't complain if it was cha taehyun doing it. Defcon is always polite, greeting the guests, make them feel comfortable, take care of other members but y'all are so harsh when you don't even know him. He's human too but he's always being called pig and overweight and he's always the unwanted and ugly one out of the cast. I understand he try too hard sometimes but this was his dream for the longest time and he's just making the best out of it. From the beginning, y'all never gave him a chance
Grandma Mallye: "I have no side dishes! People might talk ill of me because I have no side dishes," while cooking a LOT of side dishes 😂😂
this episode will prove to the haters that Defconn is actually a really nice guy and everyone should stop saying he needs to be cut out from the show. The rest of the members as well as Defconn all deserve their spot in this new season, they wont be complete without one another. Despite what any of their characters might display them to be, all members have a good heart and personality, we should all just learn to accept it and continue to support them as they lead 2D1N to its former glory.

i think defconn remember his grandparents with his partner(grandma). it was easy for him to get along with her. especially doing the things a son or grandson would do to his grandparents. he was sincere indeed. i so love this man.

It's not just a variety show to entertain people but they also show many beautiful scenes, delicious food and amazing people. Love Kim Junho when he dance or run, it's really funny and love Jung Joon Young too.
I never get sick of re-watching this episode! It makes me think of my grandma and reminds me of the regional childhood home I grew up in under her care. Also, Mallye 할머니 is so cute and funny with Kim Junho. ㅋㅋㅋ
I love how they make different story to each member n their ommoni patner.. n all of the members really did their best... we can see that their ommoni really fond of the members.. when defconn ommoni want him to hold her hand, when junho ommoni asked junho when they will meet again...

Hehe I remember my happy days with my siblings at the rice field... we used to do everything from the start until harvest time. Growing up in the country side is more fun, we have a lot of adventures.

I feel bad for watching this just now. Joo Hyuk had a kind heart and sweet personality towards his grandma. Thinking of how early he left this world made me tear up so much. Deffcon was also sweet. He may be annoying sometimes, but I understand that he was just giving his best to make their guests comfortable with him. I love these people. 💕

Those grandmas is so nice, they did treat them like their sons. Elderly in Korea is lonely, I saw on many shows they all living alone when their children and grandchild live in the city. It's a bit sad.
when i visited korea, the halmeoni and harabeoji are all very friendly. eventhough i can just speak basic conversation, but they try hard to converse with me. they are lonely. they need people to talk to.
