- I travelled down to ullswater in the lake district to meet up with Rick t Outdoors for a canoeing trip what a fantastic adventure we checked out a few areas around the lake to hammock had a go at fishing it was a great place for a meet up 😎😎

That was class Jimmy, there are so many coves to explore and Ullswater is relatively unspoiled and not comercialised like Windermere, it was lovely to watch. I think you had a fish but was under a fast hold so the line and tackle was always going to fail under the amount of tension on the rod. I know its easy with hindsight to offer advice, I would have moved the kayak to another position and tried to un-snag, playing the fish from there. My bets it was a pike because they fight deep not like trout that leap out the water once they are hooked. Anyway Jimmy, I like the way your channel is heading, every video a different adventure. Thanks Damien its a great place to have a camp I'm looking at doing a few more camps in the lakes in the future I'm enjoying doing different things and got a few more planned over the next few months fishing is something that intereste me as a way of catch and cook as well as hunting with the air rifle I always appreciate your comments and advice mate atvb Jimmy 🤟🤟🤟

Great vid Jimmy - not really into the fishing side of things but really enjoyed the camping parts and the kayak was definitely a great way to explore parts of Ullswater not readily accessible to us ordinary folk lol. A great adventure :) ATB little D

Now that was an adventure lads. I enjoyed that Jimmy. I would love a canoe, who wouldn’t, get places, explore possible areas that nobody as ever been, awesome.

Come to Cumbria, paddle, wild camp, but set a good example and don't set fire to stuff. All of the Lakes are ringed with fire scars and butchered trees! Leave no trace!

Love Ullswater and was there 2 days again, unfortunately in a right bloody rain fest lol! Maybe not have another go at fishing, pity you did not catch it on film - comedy gold! Nice place to camp and what a view to wake up too, although that did sound a weird dream lol! Looked a canny few days away with Rick, cheers Alan

There is no permitted wild camping in the Lake District unless you have the landowners permission!

So you’re obviously not bothered that what you did is not permitted here in the Lake’s.
@@stanleygardiner1780 There is no wildcamping alowed in England apart from Dartmoor unless you have permission but we still do it I have been to the lakes 3 times it's an amazing place to camp and I'm sure I will be back again but at the moment there is a lot of people disrespecting it by leaving there crap everywhere so I will give it a miss for now I am a great believer in LNT
Lundy's Wildcamp/Bushcraft to be fair, you sound a decent lad who respects the outdoors and your correct with regards to the current situation we’re experiencing in the Lakes with folk totally disrespecting the area.
I’ve been volunteering at the moment to help clear the shoreline of rubbish and discarded tents / sleeping bags and a whole host of items.
So my initial comment was more to do with not advertising wild camping in the Lake’s, not a personal dig at you.
Glad you enjoyed the Lake, it’s truly amazing and outstanding and I really appreciate how lucky i am to live here.
Responsible real wild camping is tolerated in the Lake District. If Jimmy and his friends leave no trace then there's no issue. 👍🏻 #LeaveNoTrace
