First of all I found the editing excellent again, the wave transitions, the music and the font, everything fits perfectly so that you also have the vibe of the series :) As for the production of the fin, just wow! incredibly fascinating how much time something like this can take, but you also made it very entertaining :) I was able to follow a small part of the production in the Instagram stream at the time and the finished result turned out really beautiful and you look just as great in it . Hello! (You’re one of the first to ask a question but properly say hello first so thank you :) the pigments I got cheaply from AliExpress, you can look up the color of it easily by filling in “ blue mica pigment” for example. (It’s pretty cheap usually) the backfin is silicone yes! Just like the scales I kind of shaped it a bit, but with my fingers. Thank you so much! Oh and if you’re making your tail and have more questions you can always ask them :)

The foam I used is called: waterproof open celstructure foam with flow trough system. I used a lot of bronze and gold mixed with dark red, orange and yellow.

It looks professional! Filming underwater looks like something out of h2o! Mako looked so realistic, it seemed that some of the shots of the island layout were taken from a real island in Australia, it turned out that you drew it on the computer! If you make a new tail suit and film it, can you tell us more and show in the video how and what you do with the fabric? I saw on your Instagram that there were a lot of loops inside the tail suit... also the second tail is different from the first, perhaps the second tail is more waterproof and not as heavy as the first? Hey! Definitely don’t make this tail for kids parties (unless you don’t go in the water) the extension makes it a lot harder to move. If you’re making ik without, I would say about 300€ but this really depends on the quality of materials and the country you live in

Hi there! If you don't mind me asking, is it possible to use polypropylene instead of lexan? I can't get lexan from where I live and I've heard some unfortunate things about other polycarbonate. Love the video by the way! Maybe it's the music and editing, but it felt like an official behind the scenes 😂❤

Personally I worked on it for 4 weeks, where I worked after school ( for 3 hours or so) or in weekends (the entire days) But if you have a lot of time in a row ( like a vaction ) And let's say you would spend 8 hours a day on it, this is how long it would take: -Clay fluke: 1/2 days. -Creating the mould: filling 2 hours + drying time rest of the day -Filling mould with silicone: filling is an hour, drying the rest of the day. so 2 days (both sides) -Painting fluke and covering it with a thin layer of silicone: 1 day, (about 3 hours of painting and applying it. and the rest of the day drying time) - Creating monofin: creating and testing took 2 days, but buying a monofin is like 1 hour? - Creating the body: half a day ( 4hours) - Adding foam: applying it is 3 hours + drying time rest of day. So 1 day - Shaping foam: 4 hours - Covering foam with fabric: 1 hour + 4 hours drying time - Covering fabric with silicone: if you hang the tail you can do both sides in 1 hour with the rest of the day drying time - Adding the fluke: putting it together is an hour, drying a day - Adding scales, 1/2 days ( dry over night) - Adding paint: 2 hours, rest of the day drying - Adding Backfin: just some extra silicone on the back, 1 hour, rest of the day drying, can be combined with previous step _ done!! in total that woud be about 15 work days, may everything go perfect. (which never happens) and with experience in crafting. I'm not counting the shopping time and cleaning time. without drying time it's work hours is 56 or more. you can also combine steps, like when the fluke is drying you can make the body!
