DIY H2O silicone monofin! (NEW)
Surprise! a new video!
And this time it is a h2o just add water monofin tutorial, completely made out of silicone!
well almost, I also added pigments for color, and strengthening materials.
what you need:
- silicone caulking, the amount depending on your fin size, this fin used over 15 bottles.
Optional:
- Pigments, to add color.
- strengthening material to strengthen the fin, this could be fabric or a rubber piece of a bbq mat.
I re-used my mold from my previous tutorial, check that video out for the mold tutorial. I didn't want to waste materials by re-making this part, I hope you guys understand!
Oh and if you miss a full-mermaid-tail tutorial.. stay tuned, I'm working on something ;)
Any questions can be asked below!
Also please do not ''steal'' techniques from this video to make money. Just ask, usually I am totally fine with it if you give it your own twist!

So I was finally able to do some swimming in the first h2o mermaid tail that I made! It took some improvements and time, but I'm happy with the results! i’m not sure if you’ll see this, but you can put milk in your eyes when you want salt water so it doesn’t burn. They did that to the girls on the H2O show. You can look it up the one that plays Emma was talking about it.
heyyy! I've actually seen that part in the behind the scenes! Believe it or not, but in some scenes of this video, I actually had milk in my eyes haha!
