Sounds even better with Cobra exhaust. It's a pig for sure, but handles vert well at low speed and pulls hard through mod third gear. Great machine.
I have faith that the wing still has more of a story to tell.
I work on these, that engine is most def savable! Frame might be able to be saved depending on how much of it is bent up.

That was hilarious! This video serves as an excellent case study for how insanely helpful actual dirt tires are for offroad riding.
That is way too much fun to let it just end like this. Find another parts bike, cobble it together and go another round. Get rid of all the unnecessary frame parts. You could loose several hundred lbs. Maybe see if you can increase the suspension travel too.
If he cut it down to nothing it wouldn't look like a goldwing and that is the point of it all.
@@joelc-gc1hqI certainly understand your sentiment. Owning a GL1800, I was coming from the perspective of how a Goldwing acts off road. When I see him ripping it up sideways, I can just feel how that bike is acting under those conditions. If you have ever driven a Goldwing, there are just certain ques in the way the bike turns and shifts its weight that one recognizes motion that only a Goldwing has. I was really capitalizing on that feeling, not so much the look. For general entertainment, sure taking a bagger off road looks nuts. But for those of us who know the bike, watching how it behaves under those conditions, and watching someone having that much command over the bike is just on another level.
@@Daveinet absolutely I agree, i own a 1500 and a 1200, my 84 aspencade I've owned since 2002 and just bought the 1500 in August. Goldwings are remarkable machines and yes I need two wings to fly! lol

The funny thing is this isn't the first time I've seen a motorcycle like that hill climbing back there. I had a buddy that rode his nighthawk up Jeep trail and was riding around back there with regular street tires LoL. Just so you guys know, there is an access down by the golf course that you could drive a truck and could get right to your goldwing.
