- Since the continuously updates of Tony Stewart focusing on his NHRA career and the announcement of the shutdown of Stewart-Haas Racing and, there’s been debates (as usual) about the mainly positive news of Tony’s future in the NHRA and his personal life and the shutdown of his NASCAR team, going desperate ways with Gene Haas, who’s staying in NASCAR forming his NASCAR team once again and focusing on his Formula 1 team, and there’s been negatives about Tony’s focus in NHRA and pointing fingers and blaming various things and Leah Pruett about Tony’s future career.
If you ask me, Tony Stewart no longer focusing in NASCAR and focusing NHRA is a GREAT thing for a lot of parties and in the world of racing! Why? Tune in and watch!

It's sad to see SHR shutting down but i agree. Stewart always had a diverse racing background. As an overall racing fan (including NHRA) i love it. Get well soon John Force 🙏.
Tony does have every right to go to another form of racing. The one thing I will say that has bugged me a lot about SHR’s closing is it didn’t need to happen. It’s obvious Tony is frustrated with NASCAR well let’s be honest here Tony and NASCAR never saw eye to eye. My main issue is that to me it looks like Tony just gave up. One other thing that isn’t talk about it is Tony has gone on record saying it’s not his fault that the SHR cars are running dead last. Tony threw his employees under the bus. When as an owner it’s your job and responsibility to put those people in the right the place. I feel for the employees at Stewart Haas for not having employment next year. Hopefully they all will find new a home soon. But in conclusion. A once top organization shut down due to a an owners unwillingness to put time in the organization. This doesn’t apply to Stewart also to Gene Haas. And hey Tony can go drag racing or whatever he wants because NASCAR doesn’t need Tony Stewart and tbh Tony really should have left NASCAR after 2016 for good. The future of NASCAR ownership is set we got new an exciting owners who actually care.
Although I do not blame Tony for leaving NASCAR after all the constant stupidity and other things, obviously I hated the fact that he threw his employee under the bus as well. That ain’t right.
I also felt like Tony and Gene never saw eye-to-eye in recent years because Tony has an eye on talent and Gene has an eye on money.
Other than that, Tony doesn’t need NASCAR either, he’s better off without them anyway. The sanctioning body is still a mess, and Tony wants to be in an actual competitive series (too bad NHRA has The Countdown….) instead of WWE on wheels. Kudos to him!
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT I doubt he will also stay in NHRA as well. What are the odds he just leaves and raises his kid. Tbh Tony has a track record of just throwing business. As Tony not needing NASCAR yeah he’s made that clear. Also NASCAR is still very competitive I know you don’t watch any more Ian and you have a very strong opinion on NASCAR which I don’t blame you. That comment about NASCAR not being competitive is ridiculous and untrue. Yes you got Hendrick and Gibbs winning the first 15 races of the season but other teams have been stepping up.
@spideyditko8074 never said it wasn’t competitive, it’s mainly about the business I was venting about on the vid and other silly stuff that hurts NASCAR.
I don’t have an issue with same drivers and teams winning. Sure it gets old, but I just deal with it cuz it just happens.
Oh when I mean actual competition, I meant competition without the gimmicks
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT ohhh
It's going to be sad to see Tony Stewart not involved in NASCAR in some way But I can't really blame him at this point
I hope I will see him race at Pomona in November
I have a question for you Ian. I’ve heard rumors that Toyota will have a deal with Haas F1 (similar to Sauber’s deal with Alfa Romeo from 2018-23). You think that this could mean that Haas Factory Team race Toyota’s from 2025 onwards regardless of whether or not it’s true?
Doubtful, to be honest
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT I was surprised hearing the rumor too. Last season it was rumored that Alfa Romeo would sponsor Haas similar to how they sponsored Sauber but nothing came of that. I doubt it’ll happen too but I thought I’d get someone’s opinion.
guys i think tony has every ritgh to leave like thing arent as good in nascar he was starting to lose ground and the fact that he not happy all with the next gen track and the series it self i fell like this was the best plan for both parts cant wait to see what he can do in the drag racing here's to hope for a good start
